Dr. Burleson has a very calm and warm spirit about him which is great. When explaining my procedure he provided the pros and cons and assured me all would be well. While in the hospital recovering I learned he had worked on fellow colleagues and their family members which confirmed that I was in great hands. Thank you Dr. Burleson. You’re the best!

I had my first routine colonoscopy performed by Dr. Burleson in late 2022 and immediately began hemorrhaging large amounts of blood following the procedure while in the recovery room. I still don’t know if it was a perforation or a bleeding polyp; however, they rushed back into the OR to try to stop the excessive bleeding. Burleson’s office and TCRS then charged me in full for a second colonoscopy to go back in to fix their botched initial colonoscopy.

Dr. Burleson performed my emergency right hemicolectomy. He is a talented colon and rectal surgeon. I strongly recommend him to anyone.

The team at TCRS did a great job from start to finish. Hannah was spot on in scheduling, Michelle assisted with some questions and was very helpful as well. Dr. Burleson was extremely professional, engaged, and on point. My procedure was handled perfectly. I don't normally leave reviews, but felt compelled to leave one for him and his team. I would strongly recommend Dr. Burleson and the team at TCRS!

I have been a patient of Dr. Burleson for more than 10 years . I don't remember the first I year I became a patient. He has preformed all of the Colonoscopies' I have had and a Fistulotomy. He has preformed the last few Colonoscopies my wife has had. I have been working with his PA on a issue but as of today My wife and myself will never return to his office. The personnel that set his appointments are terrible and rude. My wife needed the colonoscopy. Cancel the appointment OK. He must approve of the procedures his personnel use or they would not be using them! I am sure we will be able to find another Doctor somewhere in the North Dallas, Plano, Frisco area.

We give top marks to Dr Burleson - from office staff, courtesy, professionalism, and feeling of care to excellent visit with the Dr. Dr Burleso makes you feel at ease. He talks to you and explains your condition in a way that is logical and understandable. There is no hurrying. He answers all the questions and imparts confidence. We were very happy that Dr Gaitonde referred us to Dr Burleson. We give them 5 stars.

Dr. Burleson has been my doctor for 10 years now and he’s as good as they come. There is no doubt he’s prolonging my life and is as expert as I’ve seen in medicine. His communication skills are great and I look forward to seeing him every time. I would strongly recommend him to others.

From the first visit we knew Dr. Burleson was the surgeon for us no question!! Dr. Burleson is professional, but has a kind, caring demeanor. He truly cares about his patients and treats them with respect and understanding. My mother’s previous experience with doctors had her anxious and nervous but after her first visit with Dr. Burleson she was calm and ready to proceed with her surgery. Her surgery was flawless and Dr. Burleson was there for us every step of the way! Her post operative care was superior and Dr. Burleson was always willing to answer our questions and treated my mother with such respect and concern. Dr. Burleson’s knowledge and expertise makes him outstanding in his field but it is truly his care, patience, and understanding that makes him the most amazing doctor!

I really don’t know what planet some of the negative reviewers are from, for example the person who thought it was OK to drink coffee the morning of a colonoscopy. Do yourself a favor and ignore these people. Dr. Burleson is absolutely top notch and was trained by Dr Fazio at the Cleveland Clinic (do some research to understand what that means). Besides his expertise, I have always found Dr Burleson personable and willing to clearly discuss any concerns. In summary, he is one of the few I absolutely trust my health to - if I had listened to others, I shudder to think of where I would be now.

What can I say? He is the best surgeon ever.
