I recently met with Dr. Ku via telemedicine to discuss my fertility options, and I initially felt relieved to finally speak with a doctor who was empathetic, understanding, and attentive to my situation. I was excited to move forward — we agreed on next steps, and he even thanked me for being willing to travel to Dallas for the recommended tests. I left the consultation feeling hopeful and reassured that I was finally making progress with my fertility care. However, without any explanation, I later received a portal message from Dallas IVF stating that they could not treat me because “sometimes patients align with certain practices and sometimes they may not,” even though I had agreed to every next step they recommended. I followed up several times by phone and messages to understand why, but I was completely ignored. Given how emotional, stressful, and vulnerable fertility journeys can be, I would expect a fertility clinic to communicate clearly and compassionately. Their lack of transparency, the abrupt message ending my care, and the complete silence afterward was both confusing and deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, Dallas IVF is not reliable and, although they may appear caring on the surface, their actions showed otherwise.

Dr. Barnett is an incredible IVF doctor. He’s not only extremely knowledgeable, but also deeply personable — he makes you feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for at every step. Throughout my journey, he always took the time to explain things clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and supported. Thanks to Dr. Barnett and his amazing team, we had a successful IVF outcome. The entire staff is responsive, compassionate, and truly works together with you. I always felt like I was in the best hands. If genetic testing is important to you, go somewhere else. We started here with Dr. Ku wanting to be screened for a specific balanced translocation. Tests were ordered, results given. After seeking a second opinion from a geneticist it turns out Dr. Ku never sent for the correct tests. Imagine what else he won't do correctly for you or your family.
