Daltry Dott Md's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr Dott by a neurosurgeon because I am not a surgical candidate. I’m a retired RN and was really impressed with her compassion and the treatment plan she provided. I highly recommend her and the clinic staff.

She is very in empathetic and shows no compassion. Being a health care provider myself I’ll never treat a patient so horribly. I have been suffering from severe back and neck pain for over five years and I come to you as a pain specialist I brought an MRI of my back which shows arthritic and degenerative changes and she did nothing. I brought all my other MRIs and reports from Best Doctors which states I have degenerative changes and spondylitis in my back which has been getting worse overtime. I told her I have done PT, trigger point injections, massages, dry needling, steroids, NSAID and much more. She sent me for an MRI of my neck which showed spondylosis and other degenerative changes and I went for a second visit and was told my spine is perfectly fine and she doesn’t bother to give me anything to help my pain. She tells me she can refer me to a muscle doctor and sports medicine doctor and I don’t have to bother coming back to her. There you go the health care she provides. I guess I should go on and keep suffering with pain day in and day out because a doctor who specializes in pain doesn’t believe how much pain I’m having in a day. You shouldn’t be practicing if you don’t have compassion for people. I would have given a zero star if I could. I guess your plan of care is to waste people’s time and act like I’m making up a story because you don’t see what you want.

Dr. Dott is one of the best doctors I've ever met. I recommend her to everyone.

She is the WORST doctor I have ever seen. She did my steroids injections in my low back. She was supposed to give me meds so I dont feel anything and to make me out of it. There gave me a little and it didnt work. I was screaming out in pain and cry yall IT HURTS IT HURTS and what did they do nothing. They didnt give me meds or anything. She even thold me to stop moving and thats hard to do when your sceaming from pain. Everyone in that OR know I was in exterme pain. I was tortured for 20 minutes. After the sugery I talked to her and asked why did you not give me meds I was screaming pain you even told me to hold still. She say well you only had 10 minutes left. What the other 10 minutes. Im never seeing her again. I was tortured by her and everyone in that OR room. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DR

I have been going to see Dr. Dott for over about 6 months and can’t say enough about her care. She is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person and a truly outstanding doctor. Dr. Dott really took her time to explain my conditions to me as well as my treatment options. I had the most enjoyable experience at the UTSW Frisco clinic. I have been so happy with Dr. Dott and all of her staff. My experience has been as easy as it could be with the procedure I had done. All my questions were answered. I felt very well taken care of and would recommend to anyone. 10 out of 10! Thank you for everything.

Dr Dott spent a great deal of time with me and always listens to my concerns about my changing chronic health condition. She was compassionate and caring, and she didn’t ignore symptoms. She looked for answers to what was causing the pain and was more thorough than the other Dr’s I’ve seen without being pushy about doing procedures. She is a wonderful Dr that will take great care of you!

I had been seeing another Pain Mgmt Dr who became a “concierge Dr”, so I came to see Dr Dott. What a wonderful change! Dr Dott and her staff seemed like they genuinely care and wish to find the right treatment for you. Everyone smiles and is willing. Dr Dott is so knowledgeable-no “God Complex” here!!

I can't complain about Dr. Dott. She has helped me better than any other pain management doctor that I've had. She has tried new medication for me during my injections in my back and they have helped a lot and have lasted longer than usual. She is friendly and vert respectful. I really feel that she cares for her patients and she tries her best.
