List of Demaceo Howard's Reviews
Dr. Howard and his office team are caring and professional. Dr. Howard is amazing. I have RSD/CRPS. It is considered a rare disease and finding a doctor who is knowledgeable about it is also rare. Dr. Howard takes time to listen to me and he has been very much proactive in my care. I love that he keeps my PCP informed. For the first time in years, I feel like my doctor has a long-term plan to treat me rather than just going month to month. With Dr. Howard, I feel like he is treating me as a person and not just my RSD/CRPS. 5 stars across the board! - Barbara Elaine F.

Going to this Dr was a waste of time. He couldn't get his prescription to go through and said he called the pharmacy. The pharmacy had no record of him calling or sending in any prescriptions. Rude individual, took no responsibility for his error in prescribing and told me to get a new pain Dr. I did nothing to cause such a response. He left me with no help and had to go into withdrawal. I'm glad I made it through it. I would give him a 0 if I could. I WOULD NOT REFER HIM TO ANYONE.
After waiting for over an hour with my son, we just could not stay any longer due to a work commitment. Right As we decided we needed to go , the doctor came in. No apologies of course for the wait. WhenWe said we needed to go due to my work schedule, he threw my son’s paper in the air and turned around and walked out! The most shocking and unprofessional experience ever ftom a doctor ever!True colors showed !
I have been a patient after relocating almost 3 years now. I have to say if not for the great work and team effort I would not be able to be productive. I Thank Dr Howard and Staff
This guys is a complete joke. He took over for my main pain dr after he left. He never saw me and decided to reduce my RX by 65%. I've been on pain medication since 2000 when I broke my pelvis and back. So this is a big deal. No phone call or anything. I get to the pharmacy and that's how I found out. I then call the office and after 4 calls he calls in more. Get to the pharmacy and we are still only 70% of normal. I call the office again they tell me he is dropping me as a patient as I'm taking a medication from my primary he doesn't like and I didn't tell him. Yet it's in my chart from my doctor he took over for. Again, he won't call or take my appointment. Avoid this idiot at all costs.
This guy took over for my regular pain dr who left. He never was able to make an appointment so I only saw a nurse. He decided to reduce my RX by 70%. I only found out by picking up my rx from pharmacy. Called the office and was told I would get a call. Three more calls later they tell me he called in the rest. I go and pick up the remainder of the rx and it turns out he called in only 60% of my total now. So we are still 40 pills short. Now as a pain management patient since 2000 when I broke my pelvis and back, this is not a good situation. I call up to the office again and they inform me he is dropping me as a patient as I'm taking a rx from my regular dr he doesn't like. My previous doctor he took over for was aware of this medication. So no warning, nothing, I now get to shop for a new pain management dr. If any of you have done this it's a difficult process. It's doctors like this that force people to abuse the system and get into trouble. So I will now start doing research to find a new doctor and can't recommend enough staying away from this joke of a doctor. As an attorney I plan to research any actions I can take against him as no patient should ever be treated like this.
As friendly as can be
I only saw the doctor once. No clue about his ability. I had to go back the following week because he didn’t have my xrays. No one told me to send them. The staff at the Richardson facility really is very cold and rude. They couldn’t be bothered to even look up the phone number to my pharmacy. Bad vibes. So I go back today for the second appt at 8:00. No doctor by 8:30. I asked what was happening and no one knew. So I left. Called Beverly the area rep and told her what happened. Turns out Dr Demaceo was caught in traffic. But he never called to inform his office staff?? Obviously he had no concern for his patients either. So I wanted to switch to another office in McKinney. The woman with an attitude at his office told me that I would have to be approved first. WTH? I can’t pick my own doctor?? Stay away from this place.
Dr. HOWARD OFFICE AND STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND POLITE . THEY ALL ARE PROFESSIONAL AND MAKE SURE YOU GET IN AND OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
