I was put at ease with mild nitrous oxide for periodontal scaling and deep cleaning of my gums below my teeth. I have had this deep cleaning done previously and knew how painful it would be. The nitrous couldn’t be set at a higher level. The injections and cleaning - well, all I can say is that I pray you never have to go through this. Jeannie was my technician and was very kind to me. Still, two days later, my mouth, teeth, and gums are so sore that I can’t eat.

THE ENTIRE STAFF ARE VERY NICE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY EVEN HAVE LATE APPOINTMENTS AND SOME WEEKENDS IN CASE YOU HAVE TO WORK.

It’s challenging when your old doctor leaves a facility. You never know what to expect at the same location from a new doctor, but Dr. Ashoty was great!

I’ve had trouble finding a general dentist that’s skilled in advanced dental procedures AND at an office that’s ethical AND has staff that’s both kind and excellent at what they do. Oak Dental is every single one of those things.

Oak Dental has been our Dental Care choice since they first opened their doors!

Unfortunately, Dr. Estes retired. I am in the process of leaving this practice after many years of enjoying Dr. Estes and going to Oak Dental. Typically, I do not enjoy going to the dentist. Those fears have resurfaced after seeing Dr. Ashoty. The first time I saw him a little over 1 year ago. I came in, to have a tooth capped. He got a part of my lip caught up with under his fingers while applying the cap. He pitched my lip so hard. I had a bruise for several days. I did some intensive dental work and my braces came off last October. I love my teeth and smile. Oak Dental DID NOT do my orthodontic work. I was in Oak Dental on Tuesday, October 18th. Dr. Ashoty came into the room, sat down and immediately said, “you want to replace your 4 front teeth”. I was completely disgusted that he didn’t even look at my chart before speaking. I would NEVER replace my front teeth after all the work I had just completed. When I told him, NO. He said, o’ it must be a different patient. No thank you. There are plenty of dentists in the Frisco/Plano/McKinney area. I’m changing dentists and so is my husband.
