Called the ophthalmology line from the UTSW website and this doctor suffers from the issue of providing little to no information without a consultation appointment. All I wanted to know is if he uses a specific lens in his treatment before paying for a consultation and the information cannot be provided before having an appointment. How much is that appointment going to cost? Well I can't be provided any information like that without calling another number. If I can't get simple answers before choosing this doctor, I doubt it gets better later. I choose to find a doctor that is more transparent.

I rarely write reviews, but Dr. Dogan and the ophthalmology team at Children's in Dallas took such good care of my daughter after her corneal abrasion got infected, that I had to say something. Dr. Dogan and Dr. Patel were top-notch, caring and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's eye healed well and they made themselves available so our multiple treks to Dallas would be as inconvenient as possible.

Highly recommended. I received Laser Cataract Surgery of which he told me I could remove the patch within hours, and I did so without having an inflamed and red eye. It was amazing. I had a different Doctor which used the needle to deaden the optic nerve on my other eye, before that, not using the laser, and it took one day to remove the patch, and at least a week of a blood red eye. He has done thousands of these surgeries in his country, prior to being in the USA. He is at UTSWMC / Parkland, as a requirement to level up and get US AMA certification only.
