Steven Peskind's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Peskind was personable and attentive. He asked relative questions about my reason for need of ENT assistance. I wear hearing aids which came out in the discussion. The visit was mostly to rule out any sinus or nasal conditions that needed to be addressed before proceeding with sleep apnea treatment; I had sensations of "blockage and clicking sounds" on one side while sleeping. He examined me and addressed all my questions. IN ADDITION, while looking in my ears, he noticed my ears were quite wax-blocked and he offered to clean them if I was open to that (no extra charge). My hearing aid provider never even suggested getting professional cleaning as the aids make you susceptible to build up!!! I left my first appointment hearing better, and feeling less itchy than I had in a long time!

I wish I could give this doctor zero stars. Horrible bedside manner. Never listened to me. I chose him because he was listed in D Magazine as one of the best doctors in Dallas. I didn’t realize you could buy yourself that designation. What a crock.

First of all, he offered to clean my ears, since they looked full of ear wax (I came in for nasal congestion but still). I was pleased, but later found out that the office charged $115 for that! Wow. I just got scammed. I should’ve just denied the offer and did it at home. Second, he didn’t give me any advice/diagnosis I couldn’t have found online. I already knew I had a deviated septum. I wanted to know if there were some issues that exacerbated my congestion, like perhaps turbinate hypertrophy, sinus infection, allergies, narrow sinus cavities. That would require endoscope of the nose and or a scan of the nose. But he merely looked up with his bare eyes and concluded that it was all just due to deviated septum. And for solutions, all he said was to take allergy meds, and perhaps septoplasty, without even testing for the other potential causes of my congestion. What if I needed MSE? Or turbinate reduction? I also expected a more thorough explanation of potential over the counter solutions. Maybe he knows something I don’t, but he didn’t make it clear to me.

Outstanding experience. Front office staff excellent! Dr Peskind was very thorough and explained my ear problems to me.

Dr. Peskind is an all time natural. He has been treating my daughter since she was a little baby. She loves him. He is always super nice and down to earth. His office is super clean and the staff have always been friendly and prompt with request. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Peskind! My entire family are patients of Dr Peskind. My children are extremity comfortable with him and his staff! I recommend him for all ages! My son had tubes and his adenoids removed and he repeatly followed up after his surgery. 5 stars!

Dr. Peskind is an Amazing ENT Doctor, and we have been going to him for the past ten or eleven years. He is an exceptional doctor; for one, I love his bedside manner; it is very rare; when I mean rare, it is very rare these days that you see the physician walk you to the front desk to see you out. That is PRICELESS. He is an outstanding Doctor who conveys to you in a manner you understand; you never leave there wondering what he said or what he was talking about because you always understand everything. I appreciate that. Dr. Peskind is a one-of-a-kind doctor; I drive 45 minutes to go to him for myself and my daughtergrand because, as I say, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it; EXCELLENT DOCTOR. The staff that works alongside him is like bread and butter; it’s like the peanut butter and jelly; those always go together great. Exceptional, kind, courteous, very respectful, and always has a beautiful attitude. They are all a 10 in my book. If you need a good doctor for your Ears-Nose-Throat, do not hesitate to see Dr. Peskind. You will not regret it!

Just left his office for the first time and I had to pull over to leave this review. I will start by saying I was a hot mess bringing my two children in this morning, it was just “one of those” type of mornings. His front desk staff were amazingly kind and gracious. His nurse that checked us in was as well. Dr. Peskind was beyond all my expectations and is how all doctors should strive to be. My kids loved him, he took time to ask good question, and some fun questions as well, but was so quick and efficient without making it seemed rushed. He needed to look into my daughters nose, and she was apprehensive about it but he carried it out quickly and comfortably and no tears were shed…for perspective the previous week both my kids cried getting COVID swabs. Stellar office and stellar doctor. I will recommend him to anyone I know!

Took my 3 month old in for a hearing test because she failed her newborn hearing and he was great! So funny and courteous. They were super patient with us especially with the baby being super fussy. We would definitely recommend him.

Would not recommend going to this place! My husband had a severe hearing issue and had fluid on his ear, and could not hear. The admin in the office made an appointment, however, once she found out that his referral was pending, she canceled the appointment! Very unprofessional and rude. Seems to care only about money and not patient care. So much for "do no harm." Save your time and go where they don't just care about profits.
