Village Health Partners-Frisco's Online Review Report Card

Took 35 mins to schedule appointment with them over the phone. Only need tested for one thing (cystic fibrosis) and they said they can test for it. There’s been 7 phone calls from them since. Doctor had emergency so they assigned back up dr. They called multiple times to confirm insurance. Every phone call yes we will test for that. They called less than a day before appointment and said they can’t test for that. I’ve never had so much time wasted for one appointment and then be told they can’t help you. Here’s the best part…. you can keep the appointment though they said. They didn’t have good answer when I asked why would I pay for a service they don’t offer. I do not recommend.

It's unfortunate that there isn't a zero star rating. This is a poorly run practice. Avoid.

Horrible customer service. They pick and choose which insurance companies to work with behind the scenes and then try and get you to pay out of pocket. They ask you to provide important personal information, collect all of your personal data and then tell you they don't accept insurance and only accept cash out of pocket for new patients. Meanwhile, they are listed as a primary medical facility on the insurance companies' websites. I asked if they were a privately owned facility and they said yes. That makes sense because as a privately owned facility, then can make up whatever rules they want. I am not mad that they can decide what insurance they want to accept and what insurance they don't want to accept. That's their prerogative as business owners. I am upset that they collect all of your personal information FIRST, then ask you to "text" your driver's license, insurance card, birthdate, address and all of the information that can be bought and sold through medical companies. Then, they tell you AFTER THE FACT that they don't accept your insurance provider. Meanwhile, the insurance company says that they do accept insurance. I pay a grip of money each month for insurance. It's a very reputable insurance company that even lists Village Health Partners on their insurance website as a medical facility that accepts it. Extremely unprofessional way of collecting people's personal information. Suggestion: How about your web process gets updated to request the insurance company NAME before you collect personal information from "prospective patients" that you ask for their information. You cannot book an appointment online anyway. You allow people to "request" an appointment. So why not ask people what their insurance company is first and actually look at the online forms that people fill out before reaching out via text to ask them to send their personal information so to not waste people's time and risk having personal information collected for no reason. I am fairly confident that texting is not HIPPA compliant. And while Name, Address, Phone, Driver's License, Medical Insurance Card may not be under the HIPPA policy, it still leaves room for scammers and your personal data to be sold. The medical industry has gotten so corrupt. It's wild.

Absolutely the best medical office ever been to. The system they use through the portal and communication through texting with staff whether for appointments, billing, lab work is awesome. On appointment they will txt you the room number and when you arrive someone is likely to be there to assist you. No waiting around wondering if someone will show up. I really love this system and medical staff very knowledgeable and always ready to assist.

Called this place early am, the person who answered seemed lost and said someone would call back. Never did receive a call back. After waiting 5 hrs, I called them. They didn't have a record of my call. Their website states "same day appts." NOT TRUE, the girl said no one could see me today. (I asked for anyone) What a joke! Don't waist your time.

I was looking for a good Catholic doctor, and Dr. Noyes was recommended by a friend. If you're considering him for that reason, DON'T. He doesn't know enough about what Catholicism teaches to give sound medical advice. He tried to get me to use a treatment that would be gravely contrary to the natural law, and when I said I didn't want it, he was dismissive and rude.Dr. Noyes also schedules lots of extra appointments, prescriptions, and uncessary referrals. He sent me to get an MRI for high cholesterol. Completely unnecessary. He does the same stuff with blood work. The guy's just trying to move more business through his clinic. The blood work lab and MRI machine are in the same building. He also referred me to a specialist outside my insurance network, so that's great (sarcasm).

I am so frustrated with this place and the service I received, or should I say lack of service. I waited weeks for my appointment. The day of, I took off from work and drove 45 minutes to get there. I got lost on the way. This caused me to run late. I arrived, waited in line, and gave my name to the check in clerk. She said my appointment had been canceled because I was 15 minutes late and I have not responded to their messages. I checked the time and told her it just turned 15 minutes. I was technically there before the grace period. I was not late 15 minutes late and I never received a message from them. They had been texting the wrong number. I spoke to the site director to see if I could be seen or can they schedule me to see another doctor. She offered me fake pleasantries and said no and I had to reschedule. She even told me to take off another day (as though it's that easy). It did matter to her how long I waited for the appointment, nor the fact that I had to take off from work, nor did it matter how far I had to drive. It didn't even matter that they had text the wrong number. I even passed it all day and anticipation of blood work needing to be done as a new patient. It was 2:45pm and I had not eaten all day. None of that mattered. They offered no grace as a new patient. So cold and inconsiderate, and yet they want people to trust them with their health. I left there with tears in my eyes.

I have quite a few health problems and when go in for my initial care visit, most Doctors or Nurse Practitioners look at me like I am crazy and write off what I say. It usually takes months of test for them to understand my predicament. Dr. Sweta Manek was so professional and kind. When I told her my conditions she immediately referred me to specialists for my needs. Best care I have ever received on my first visit. She really made me feel like I was heard and would be taken care of! Also, all of the nurses and staff were incredible and made me feel like I have been patient there for years. Thank you so much!!!

Facility was clean and and staff was courteous and thorough. Dr Ampajwala is the best! 😁😁
