List of Withee Acupuncture Of Texas's Reviews
I was diagnosed with SI joint dysfunction (Aug 2020) for about 1.5 years and was doing the daily PT. I still had no relief. When I sat in the car for 60 min I would get a tingling down the left toes. 3 different PTs and an orthopedic said it was referred pain from my pyriformis muscle. Bc I had an upcoming road trip that was 22 hrs long, I was referred to Dr. Cho. She said it wasn’t related to SI joint or the pyriformis but a DVT in the Paploteal vein and suggested I get an ultrasound. I blew her off because how could she have X-ray vision. I did my drive and 3 days after I arrived to my destination I was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism. I wish I had listened to Dr. Cho. Many thousand later and a month I drove back home with no pain down the left toes.
Dr. Cho and her team here are wonderful. Such kind people and great natural healing options. Janet & Johnny are excellent masseuses. I’ve been going for 3 years now and still Highly recommend them to others.
This high rating is only for Dr. Victoria Cho! My goodness I wish I would have gone to her back when I was in high school! I can tell you now 20 years later everything she said makes complete sense! It was almost overwhelming and I almost had tears in my eyes to finally have somebody just make complete sense Of all of the little things that I had bothering me that doctors couldn't explain. I am actually a little bit emotional after leaving because finally some validation and the tools. The biggest take away from this is how important it is that we use cognitive medicine. Having an experience with her is so strong and powerful that it makes me wish that we had people like her to teach and God willing we will in the US. All of these years of not understanding why I had the symptoms I was having and not having any answers. Why my body hurt and the areas it was hurting just everything like that. Honestly God bless this woman she is a godsend!
I actually had a great first impression based on the conversation I had with someone from the clinic. I told them that I had carpal tunnel and they expressed how much they wanted to help me. They asked me to send a copy of my ID and my insurance information and that they would confirm my coverage. I got a message the next day that I would have to go 5-6 times to meet my deductible. I thought that was strange because that did not add up - I would have had to go many more times to meet my deductible. I called a couple times to clarify and I was either given the same response or I was told that they were too busy. One of the doctors (male) finally called me and was pretty aggressive, saying things like how they didn’t want to be “slaves to the insurance company” and that I should be grateful they charge less than other places (which they don’t. $150 each session?!!) He also said that I would not have to pay any more out of pocket if they couldn’t treat me after 6 visits. I asked for this in writing and he said he wouldn’t do that… that this was “company policy” and was frustrated that I didn’t believe him. Of course I didn’t believe him!!!! Oh and apparently my wanting to come in for carpal tunnel somehow was communicated between them as me wanting infertility treatments… what?!?! I asked if anyone even bothered to check with my insurance and he confirmed that nobody called them. Then why did you ask me to send you the image of my ID and insurance?!?!? Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Would absolutely not recommend this clinic.
Dr.Cho is the best! She truly cares about patient. I had a several appointments with her and I really enjoyed the treatment time with her as she is engaged in interacting with patients on a personal level to consult and perform treatment with my back pain. i strongly reccomend going here for an acupunture experience!
Dr. Cho and her staff are awesome!

Pros Environment Professionalism Affordability Cons Hours of Operation Prior to coming to this location I had never done acupuncture. I had seen it on movies and commercials and always thought, hmm it must hurt to be a human porcupine. Doing a football workout I did a simple turn and pinched a nerve. Luckily, my fraternity brother worked at this location and they were open on Saturday so I knew my moment had arrived to be one with the porcupines. Upon coming in the office had a pleasant ambience, very relaxing and welcoming. The staff was very professional and ensured I had their attention the entire time I was being serviced. There was also a high attention for detail and precision while doing both the acupuncture and massaging portions of the treatment. They also have several different tools and techniques, acupuncture, cupping, stimulation, and massages are only a few. The the doctor was very knowledgeable and kind, she also saw me until I was able to function properly again. As for affordability, they accept insurance and the prices for treatment are flexible so don't be afraid to come get treatment, I can attest it works as long as you trust the process. The only con for those who work throughout the week is the hours of operation. They close around 7:00PM while many people are in traffic, with that being said the availability in Saturday compensated for it but for those that know the medicinal benefits, spots fill up extremely fast so book in advanced. I recommend this location!
The entire staff at Withee Acupuncture is phenomenal. I'm 24 years young living an active lifestyle. I started seeing Dr. Cho & co. about 2-3 mos. ago. Since then, I've needed treatments for 3 separate injuries. They have been able to adjust to my needs on the fly, all while educating myself about my injuries and proper ways to heal. One of the first things that impressed me was that Dr. Cho gives you an internal diagnosis on whats going on within (what's going on internally will demonstrate itself on the outer), and she was able to tell me my own habits/daily occurrences (i.e. smoking, drowsiness, low energy, etc.) without prior knowledge about me. Also, I've had massages in CA, HI, & a couple other places in the DFW, but their masseuse, Johnny, is the best masseuse I've seen to date. All in all - 5/5 no debate.
I have been a patient of dr cho's for over 10 years! She is the best. She's not only the most skilled and knowledgeable in her field of expertise but she's also the most genuine, caring, humble person I have ever met in my whole life. Thank you for moving your practice to Texas and thank you for always being there for my friends and I. We truly appreciate you from the bottom of our heart.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
