Alfred A. Mansour Iii's Online Review Report Card

I had a child with an uncommon and serious orthopedic injury several years ago. I talked to every pediatric ortho in the city. Dr. Mansour is the best of the best we have in Houston. He has gone the extra mile to help care for my kid and ensure an excellent out come. Almost a decade later my son is running around healthy and living a full life. Since then, I have taken each of my kids to him for advise and treatment on sports related injuries. He has consistently been wise, right, cautious, thorough, and caring. You'll notice the difference when he walks in the room and says, "Hi, I am Alfred." If you have an injured child, this is the guy you want to see.

Dr.Mansour is the kindest, sweetest, amazing , most caring doctor I have ever met. He had so much patience with me. His skills are top notch ! I had one of the most complex hip surgeries with him. He has been amazing throughout the whole procedure.He is the top hip prevention surgeon in all of Texas hands down ! His PA Stefanie is a sweetheart. Vanessa his scheduler is a doll ! The whole staff has been nothing but kind. Thank you Dr.Mansour for everything! You are truly an amazing loving doctor!

Dr. Mansour and his staff are amazing. Dr. Mansour did my daughter’s PAO surgery in July 2020. She had a great deal of hip pain following a gymnastics injury, but I believe she is on the road to recovery. Dr. Mansour is extremely patient and caring, and did a wonderful job explaining the procedure to us and answering all our questions. One of my daughter’s biggest concerns was the hideous scar, but it is not nearly as bad as she thought it would be. Dr. Mansour is extremely skilled and the incision is neat and healing nicely. I am very happy that we found Dr. Mansour – I trusted him completely, and I am especially grateful for him working the surgery in quickly before everything was shut down due to COVID-19.

Our son tore his ACL when he was 11-years old playing ice hockey. Pediatric ACL repair is rare and thus less researched. We visited several pediatric orthopedic surgeons both in TX and CA prior to meeting Dr. Mansour. Most advised a conservative approach: avoid playing contact sports and postpone ACL repair until knee growth plates have closed (when a person is about 16+ years). Dr. Mansour was the only surgeon we met who had experience with pediatric ACL repair surgery. He was convincing, confident and clear in his recommendations. Our son had an ACL repair, took a year off sports for physical therapy and has been playing ice hockey and other sports ever since. A life-changing experience to have an opportunity to continue playing his favorite sport. Stephanie, Dr. Mansour's assistance, is phenomenal. She is thorough, knowledgeable and detail-oriented. We recommend Dr. Mansour and his practice with no hesitation whatsoever. He's a world-class professional.

Dr. Mansour and staff were very helpful! Made my son so comfortable, he was not afraid to have surgery. Dr. Mansour explained everything to us and then to my son in terms an 8 year old can understand. Extremely happy with our overall experience with him and his office!

I met with 5 doctors (including a top doctor at the Mayo clinic) for a hip dysplasia and labrum tear solution and stopped searching once I found Dr. Mansour. He was not only qualified to handle the complex surgery but is professional and has outstanding bedside manners. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alfred Mansour was very open to other options before jumping into surgery. We were recommended to him by a close family friend and have been very please since our first visit. After following through with a surgical procedure, my recovery was quick and i haven’t had pain whatsoever. We have already recommended him to other people and will continue to do so.

Dr. Mansour is good surgeon with a calm bedside manner . However - his staff infuriates me . They are incompetent and make excuses for not doing things they are supposed to do by saying they are busy . It can take days or sometimes even a week or more to receive a call back . I understand some mistakes can happen but with them it’s like they drop the ball over and over again . There’s always some issue with them not doing something necessary and me having to call . Dr . Mansour should really considering hiring a more competent staff to support him . His PA is really awesome though and Dr. Mansour is really wonderful , so as long as you can over look his terrible staff, I would highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Mansour and his staff. He performed surgery on my son during the early morning hours of Christmas Eve and took excellent care of him. During follow ups, Dr. Mansour's staff proved as knowledgeable and friendly as him. They are punctual too! You will be in good hands with Dr. Mansour!
