List of Phillip D. Lee's Reviews
I normally don't review doctors, but it was warranted based on the only other review, which was unfair to Dr. Lee. We were referred to Dr. Lee because my daughter had signs of early puberty. After testing, we learned that she has enlarged adrenal glands. Dr. Lee is a quiet person, patient with children, and knowledgeable in his field. I have no complaints about either his bedside manner or his education. He was able to explain the condition adequately and help us understand the course of treatment going forward. The lab tech in his office is outstanding. I was an ER nurse before I had kids, so I have drawn blood on many infants and children, and I can tell that she is experienced and also very compassionate. My daughter was terrified of having her blood drawn and completely uncooperative. The tech did a great job of distracting her and calming her down, and got blood on the first try (a big plus in Pediatrics!). Please don't let one negative review turn you away from trying Dr. Lee. He's a good guy and will take good care of your child's hormone-related illnesses.
Very busy clinic. MA or RN does the initial evaluation. When Dr finally walks in, first thing he does is sit.Has a weird grin on his face & says everything looks fine (when he hasn’t even got up off the stool. He then get up, says the nurse will be in and leaves. He does not welcome questions or comments from patient or family. He’s in a hurry to just get out out of the room. Total waste of time and money going to see him. Find you a caring & compassionate Dr for your child who is not just in it for the money. (It’s going to be hard)
Dr. Lee's nurse Vanessa as a Godsend to frightened and confused parents of newly diagnosed diabetic children. She is available 24/7 by phone and always answers questions immediately... this is critical when you need to adjust insulin doses at all hours of the day. I've never been so impressed with a doctor's office commitment to patient care.
my daughter sees dr lee for hypothyroidism i only own an invalid vehicle have to always find a ride bc our inspection registration are out of date it needs work done to get anything completed its a far drive from home already cant afford the tickets and can almost never meet him out in League City weve asked a handful of times if he'd meet out in Alvin and have been denied so we have to absolutely go to the league city pediatric center of the utmb it's been months since ive been able to make it out there i get my child's regular pediatrician to test her thyroid levels and she sends the results over to him and we receive her prescriptions no problem up until this point she recently was in to her regular pediatrician she did her labs got them sent over we even got a prescription settled for 90 days well now im calling in a prescription for her again havent been able to get my vehicle running or find a ride for so far away and the dr has denied her prescription shes going to run out while i cant get out to league city i know from experience that if she misses one thyroid pill it has great affects on her even if she were to spit out the medication had she had any her labs would be thrown for a loop ive recieved a few back lashings for this and that its souly up to me so i know how important the medication is on all levels i feel like he's being very irrational not compliant to come see us out in Alvin and also that hes being irrational to denie my daughter a 3yr old a prescription that we already know for the most part that its working i have no way around the problem other than letting her run out of her prescription until i can get a ride other than the drive and the communication problems and now the denial of an important prescription we already know works he does a great job id get another dr and closer to home if i could for all the inconvenience for us both the dr and I but he's the only one! it's not his fault for our inconveniences but him inconviencing my daughter to pain discomfort and hair loss is another ball park i have no problem getting my kids to the pediatrician and urgent care facilities in Alvin so obviously im a concerned abled willful parent if nothing stands in my way that i cant move
Very dismissive of my concerns and my daughter’s questions. Had us both in tears.
Very frustrated with this clinic. As I hear more and more patient complaints I am very shocked more has not been done to addresss the issues brought up by current and former patients and families.
It is very concerning to me when a physician feels the need to boost their self esteem by pointing out the errors of their colleagues .
Dr. Lee was very unprofessional and came across rudely. Being in the hospital for three days and having lots of blood work done, I was referred to an endocrinologist. The first thing the doctor said as he walked in the door is "I don't know why you are here." Long story short, very rude and did not seem interested in my issues so just told me I need to change my diet.
We have been very pleased with Dr. Lee. He spends time with you and I appreciate that he talks directly to my child. I would highly recommend him. My only issue is with his Physician's Assistant who handles all of his prescriptions and authorizations. She is completely unreliable, never does the required work in a timely manner and makes constant excuses. Till of course you call Dr. Lee and then everything is all of a sudden taken care of.
Doctor Phillip D Lee is a great doctor. The wait time at the office is usually no more than 10 minutes. He is kind and respectful during the visit and when you enter the office. He greets people with a handshake and a smile. His diagnostics are always accurate and he is caring and good with children. He talks to the child and asks how they are doing before getting into a conversation with the parents. I strongly recommend Phillip D Lee.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
