List of Scott B. Rosenfeld's Reviews
On January 25th of 2023 at 8:40 a.m. I had the displeasure of meeting Dr. Rosenfeld for the first time. Dr. Rosenfeld was accompanied by a visitor or a student from Egypt. The moment he walked into the patient room to discuss hip surgery for my daughter he didn’t acknowledge me, he didn’t speak to me, he ignored me. (I am a parent) He never once gave eye contact, he immediately started speaking with the visitor or student and to my daughter, who is a minor and started examining her. Dr. Rosenfeld proceeded to the computer to show the deformity of the hip to the visitor from Egypt using a 3D method and was not at all engaged with me or any of my concerns. During this visit a female nurse or staff member should have accompanied Dr. Rosenfeld, especially because there were 2 males in the patient’s room. Both my daughter and I were very uncomfortable. At that time my daughter and myself were under the impression that she would be undergoing surgery the next day. He stated “no she is isn’t” in an ill-mannered tone. Dr. Rosenfeld was very arrogant, and pompous during the visit. I explained to Dr. Rosenfeld his scheduler Stephanie notified me that my daughter would be undergoing surgery for January 26th of 2023 and he changed his tone and stated “I will speak with my scheduler.” The first encounter a parent would like to have with a surgeon would be a pleasant experience. My daughter and I both left upset due to the nature of the visit. Dr. Rosenfeld’s office staff has a habit of omitting notes in their favor and also imputing inaccurate notes into the My Chart system in order to disgruntle parent(s). After this visit a social worker was asked to call me and I took this as highly offensive. The office staff is stating this was due to a cancelled orthopedic surgery plan appointment and surgery. In actuality this was in an attempt to cover up their poor communication for an orthopedic surgery plan appointment that must take place 2 weeks prior to the surgery, in which I was never made aware of. When I spoke to the office manager “Jessica” and asked her who involved a social worker, she stated “Dr. Rosenfeld didn’t do this,” because they had just seen my daughter for an appointment. After speaking with the social worker and asking her to upload notes as to who involved a social worker and as to why, it was clearly stated in the notes the medical office staff was the referral. My child’s appointments are always met and kept, however; if the parent is unaware of the appointments and they are just being scheduled without notice to the parent, it will cause conflict. We drive an hour and a half for these visits. The staff member Jaylene who typically answers from the nurse’s line is extremely discourteous. I have had numerous encounters via telephone with unpleasant office staff other than Jaylene. The staff never admits to any errors on their behalf which could cause major concern for a surgery. They also omit certain telephone call history. The parent and patient should feel reassured of proper care and treatment, especially prior to going into a surgery that could approximately take 4-6 hours long. Dr. Rosenfeld pre-judged me as an African American female parent because there is a history of social work in the MyChart system. Unfortunately, my daughter lives with my sister and sustained her injury at her home, as to why a social worker was initially involved. I am a concerned parent trying to make sure my daughter has the best care. This encounter with Dr. Rosenfeld has caused immense distress to me and I’m highly unappreciative of it. We are an extended family and judgement is not something we take very well to. I would highly recommended Dr. Rosenfeld to understand the complexity of family dynamics and that it is not always an easy situation to cope with. There are truly parents who care about the nature of their doctor’s visits and this would raise high concern on how Dr. Rosenfeld’s bedside manner will be as a sur
In this commercial world, it's hard to find a doctor who can diagnose and provide you a true prescription! When you meet Dr SCOTT, all your wrong perceptions about medical profession will vanish instantly. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain the details. He has a skills to connect with the patient and good bedside manners. I will highly recommend Dr SCOTT for any pediatrics orthopedic needs. Just simply awesome doctor!!!

Dr Rosenfeld is an amazing and humble! He diagnosed me when 4 others couldn't! AWESOME!
Dr Rosenfeld is a great doctor. He did sn excellent job on my son when he broke his femur. He took his time to talk to us and let us know what was going on.
We arrived for the visit and we were taken directly into exam room. He explained all aspects of the exam and followed through. He explained all his thoughts to my daughter and let us make decisions. He has a great bedside manner. I would recommend to anyone. His staff made us feel like we were home.
I have two children born with OI and they fracture frequently. Dr. Rosenfeld has treated their fractures as well as performed surgery on one of my children. He is always reassuring and explains everything directly to the kids. While we are always disappointed in the office staff, (most should not be working with children), he always ends our visits on a positive and upbeat note!! There is never any question whether his diagnosis and treatment are correct! He is top notch!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
