I am extremely grateful for the care I received from Dr. B Shimkus and Lone Star Oncology. I was treated well and not made to feel rushed getting answers to any questions/concerns I had and time was taken to explain things to me in great detail despite the office having a large patient base. All us patients are made to feel valued as each and every associate acknowledges you with a smile and/or warm greeting which unfortunately, is rare in the busy hustle and bustle world we live in today. I would definitely recommend them for all your Hematology/Oncology needs as they live up to their already amazing Google rating, and I will definitely use only them going forward for my care. Thank you all for being truly exceptional people!

The doctor himself was marvelous. Very professional and kind. He explained the plan thoroughly and carefully. My only negative experience is that this clinic does not synchronize medical data from Hospitals, including Ascencion Hospital, clinics like Autin Urology or offices like my family doctor, cardiologist, etc. I had to foil manually over 20 pages with much difficulty. The clinic service desk and nurses apparently are fully aware about this suboptimal process. May God bless Dr Shimkus and his coordination with my excellent radio therapist, Dr Richard Garza. By the way getting the port-a-Cath installed required another similar experience because these entities do not share necessary patient medical info. With so much technology available, is incomprehensible that a more efficient communication among medical facilities does not exist.
