Davam Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

I have been here several times with my kids and every time has been AMAZING. I went today for myself and it was quite the opposite. The dr was great and helpful but up to that point, the experience was terrible. I waited over 30 mins in the waiting room after my scheduled time. The front desk clerk never said anything. When I asked if it would be soon, she said she was waiting to hear back from my insurance. I originally told her that my kids have been there and it’s the same insurance when I handed her my card. And she didn’t want to inform me within the 30 mins of what was going on? When I mentioned AGAIN that it’s the same as my kids, she suddenly had a co-pay amount and I was called back about 5 mins later. When the nurse called me back, she looked at me as thought I ruined her day. She had an attitude from the beginning. We walked into the room and she asked me what I was there for. I started to explain and she cuts me off. So I told her that I was trying to give her the full picture if she would give me a second. She then proceeded to cut me off several other times. She then starts asking me about my current medicines and surgical history, etc. She still had an attitude so I finally told her that I wasn’t answering anymore questions and I just wanted to be tested for Strep and Flu and to go home. Then she tried to push the COVID test on me. I told her that is not what I requested. I am still so confused and upset by the experience. Why ask me what my symptoms are if you are not going to listen? I felt like I was wasting her time.

Had to wait a little bit but the Dr. came in after the strep test was performed on my daughter and checked her out. I told her my concerns that these same symptoms arise when she strep. She came back in and said test was negative but she pulled it for me and looked and it was slight, but it was positive. Prescribed the amoxicillin and we were done. I’ve been here multiple times with both my kids and they are always so good.

The Dr at this urgent care saved my life! I went in thinking I had pneumonia, but after testing for Covid, flu and pneumonia the Dr said she thought it was my heart, which shocked me! Sent me to LaGrange ER, they did test confirmed it was my heart and was sent to Austin by ambulance. They got me there in 45 mins and long story short I had 4 bypasses at the Austin Heart Hospital! The Dr at LaGrange and the Austin Drs could not believe I survived! I firmly believe if it hadn’t been for the Dr at this Urgent Care with her great care I would not be alive! Best Urgent Care I’ve ever been to! Very professional, attentive and fast! BTW…. I was a vendor from Okla set up at Round Top and had no idea where to go but I googled and read their reviews and ratings…. that’s why I went there! So glad I did!!!

I've gone to Davam Urgent Care a handful of times. Everyone has been so nice, they listen to my concerns, and don't talk down to me. I know my body, and I appreciate them listening and trust that I know my body best.

Stitched my hand good. I’ve been there twice always good care. Was seen quickly.

I got in to patient room in 5 minutes after arrival. Doctor came in within 10 minutes. I had to wait on test results but not too long and was out. I was so grateful because I felt lousy and just wanted to be in bed. Everyone very polite and pleasant waiting room.
