Wellness Pointe Gilmer Clinic's Online Review Report Card

My mom and I were looking back over my chart that they sent us home with and we see a ton of statements made on the chart that don’t even align with the questions they asked me. They stated that I was an alcoholic and a heavy smoker. When they asked if I drank or smoked I told them every once in a while like every other teenager, but they put on my chart “current every day smoker” and “patient has not felt the need to cut down, been annoyed by complaints, felt guilty about drinking, needed an eye opener in the a.m.” THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!

The doctor and the nurses there are very friendly, makes you feel comfortable!

very disappointed and frustrated. I came in today due to having consistent pain in my knee, to the point I can barley walk and wake up in tears because of the pain. i’m 22, I shouldn’t be having this problem. I also came in for my headaches i get several times a week to the point I throw up sometimes, as well as fill my Celexa which is for depression.1. I waited almost two hours to see the doctor.2. he told me there wasn’t anything he could give me for the pain i’m having with my knee or headaches, I could just take Ibuprofen and that’s just as good as any pain medication. I disagree because i’ve been doing that and don’t have any relief which I told him and he didn’t seem to care because he rudely insisted I take ibuprofen. i’m not one to take pain medication or even ask for it, but when I do it’s because i’m uncomfortably dealing with a lot of pain.3. when I called to make my appointment I told them i’ve taken celexa for several years and needed to get it refilled, when I came in and talked to the nurse when I was in my room I told her the SAME THING. doctor never mentions my refill for this, walks out..so I ask him umm am I not going to get a refill for my celexa? he replied “well that wasn’t put in your file so just go back to the room and have a seat” where I overhear him telling the ladies in the back that since I didn’t tell the nurse he would refill it this once, but next time i need to make them aware of it so it can be discussed!!!! when the lady came back to tell me what I just overheard I told her I had already told the lady on the phone and the nurse, so that’s their problem for not doing their job and putting it in my file the two different times I brought it up!I will never go back here!!!!!!!!!!!!! i’m so frustrated I came to my car and cried.

Knowledgeable staff but no public bathroom due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Very unprofessionalNo compassionRudeDr. Hunter was awful and needs to retire. His nurse Robyn was even worse. She definitely is NOT Nurse material and should find another career. I have never ever in my life witnessed such ugliness from a healthcare worker and provider as I did. I will NEVER go back.

Dr Hunter seems knowledgable and has nice manners.

Just an FYI, Wellness Pointe is not the same as Dr.s Buller, King or the MD who took over Dr. Murry's practice. They may be in the same building but are separate entities....

Doctor Hunter never really seemed to care about helping with an issue I have with my arm. They pretty much called me after having some testing done and said 'well we cant figure out what's wrong. Have a good day.'

Having to wait and hour and a half before you even see the doctor. I have never waited this long in this place & for some reason it’s taking so much longer everyone else is in and out.
