We absolutely love Dr. Rivas, he is great with the kids down to earth and always supportive and willing to go the extra yard to make sure we are comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything very patiently. He makes my girls laugh and enjoy the visit.

Dr. Rivas has been my doctor for over 10 years! Dr. Rivas, the nurses, and staff are excellent! The office is always very clean and patients are seen quickly. I recommend Dr. Rivas to anyone looking for EXCELLENT pediatric care.

Dr Rivas has been such a blessing to our family. He has gone above and beyond for our son. He genuinely and wholeheartedly cares about his patients. I cannot recommend him enough! He has checked on our son after hours and followed up a few days later as well.

After seeing a patient .. Dr Rivas did not wash his hands when coming into my child’s room right away he shook my hand and again did not wash his hands but he put his hands inside my babies mouth to see if he had any teeth sprouting . I’m very nervous now due to the fact covid is spreading rapidly .. did not wear gloves or wash his hands when leaving the room either

We really missed Dr. Rivas when he left the Austin area. He is great doctor/pediatrician. He was my son an daughter’s pediatrician 22 years ago. We really hated to see him to leave. If you live in Gonzalez, TX he is a great pediatrician. Your children will always take be taken care of with Dr. Rivas. Tammy Gorham

Dr. Rivas has been all 3 of my children's primary pediatrician since they where born. He has always been great with them. Never once have they been scared or not wanted to go to the doctor. He has a great staff, his nurses are just as awesome, you can tell they sincerely care about the children! When my children are sick he as always made the best judgement calls for the health of my chiId. He is also great about not making us wait forever in the waiting area. We are typically in and out of there in a very timely manner If you are looking for a great pediatrician Dr. Rivas is the place to go!

My child has had three sick visits with Dr. Rivas, two of which he allowed my child to run over 102 fever for over a 7 day period. We have dealt with strep throat twice and an inner and outer ear infection in both left and right ear ( same infection ). Of these visits, when I asked about getting a stronger antibiotic or an antibiotic shot, he disregarded my request. I know of other patients that he gives antibiotic shots to right away to help their child get better quicker. All should be equal.
