Yeah it’s nice you get in and get out of there pretty darn quick, but the service sucks. I went in yesterday for reason I won’t say here, but was only seen for one of my issues, the other pushed under a rug in my opinion. Even when I was talking with the nurse about my pain level before the doc came in to see me; he did something a healthcare professional in his line of work I thought I would never experience, but when he asked me what my pain level was for the pain of one of my symptoms. I quickly said 10 right after it’s like he laughed me, I believe that was so unprofessional. And about doctor Johnson really nice lady but I don’t think she took my second symptoms serious, western medicine pusher is exactly what she is smhI’ll never return here, not even for the fast service
They are ALWAYS phenomenal! There’s not one complaint. Thank you for making every visit the best. You’re the greatest!
I went in for severe left side abdominal pain (I thought it was constipation) it ended up being a diverticulitis perforation of my colon. I was told I needed surgery ASAP & that I needed a transfer to another facility as they are a free-standing ER (I was not aware of that). The Dr. & nurses were constantly asking me as to why I decided to go to this ER. Wait, what?! I live in Grand Prairie & I googled nearest ER to me & they came up, so that's the reason I went there. I had to look for a surgeon on my own while in pain to get a transfer because they told me it could take hours/days to get one. The ER Dr. did not want to speak to the surgeon I had found, he had to call the ER directly & finally got me a transfer to another hospital where he performed surgery. The nurses asked me 3 times if I wanted to sign an AMA form & find my own ER/Surgeon to operate & that will be the quickest way to get surgery done. I work in the medical field & I do not recommend this place.
I was going to come in today to check on my throat it’s been hurting and irritating me for the last 3 days. After reading majority of the comments this hospital looks like it’s not the one for me, it’s crazy that the comments made me terrified to come. I especially don’t have time to get turned away about my painful problem because a RN or DOC doesn’t care to treat me guess I’ll have to find somewhere else to go, that will actually care to help me.
Don’t come unless you want to be scolded on why your there in the first place. The last thing you want in an emergency situation is to be belittled by people who are supposed to be healthcare professionals. As opposed to being worried about my health I was being patronized. Never had issues like this before seeking treatment guess now I know not to ever seek it at Baylor Scott & White. There seemed to be a small wait now I know why.
I was barely examined..they did not test me for anything! Gave me a lecture about even coming in there to get help. Then wrote me a prescription for steroids that I should not have been on and that also made me sicker!! They were also paid in full at time of visit. I went to Surepoint when I started feeling worse and they were appalled that I had been treated that way and they also said it happens all the time!!!
Don’t waste your time they just gonna make u wait over an hour waste of time
Now I’ve gone to this hospital twice before; both positive experiences. But the treatment for a serious matter that I was dealing with on Sunday 7/11/21 was unacceptable. Disclaimer: this is from a post I made on my personal social media. It is in no way to bash or defame this hospital; but to make the health facilities aware of their failures. I never advised I had covid; I simply advised I did not feel well nor did 2 of my babies and we needed to see a doctor for health care as I was suffering. I am fully, 100% aware that these facilities don’t perform “FREE COVID-19 tests”, however, I was denied health care out of assumption that I had covid due to symptoms. Crazy part I AM NEGATIVE! I could’ve had another serious illness that could’ve taken me out…. So here you go…..FYI… 🚨🚨Guys…SMH; hospitals have to do better! How are you the hospital AFRAID of “POSSIBLE” not even yet confirmed, Covid-19 situations? I was turned away from not 1 but 2 different 24 hour emergency hospital rooms because they “assumed” I had Covid-19. Medical City Arlington turned us away as soon as we came in. Their RN that was at the desk Sunday 7/11/21 around 2p told me at the door, “I’m gonna tell ya right now, we don’t do Covid tests”Me: Ma’am I don’t even know if I have Covid; I DO NOT FEEL GOOD!We then drove around the way to Baylor Scott & White Health ER in Grand Prairie told us to stand to the side like we had a disease that could jump on everyone and alerted health personnel. A nurse came out running whispering “where are they”, the front desk admin told them “I think they’re over there”…. The nurse had paperwork in hand on where we could get tested, mind you on a Sunday. Advised me “we just don’t do that here”. Even after I told her MA’AM, I, WE, MY BABIES, need a doctor. I don’t feel well! Not even being dramatic, but just covering all possibilities! Yet, we were turned away! Lol!We took our pained butts BACK UP THERE around 3:30a Monday 7/12/21 because my husband had a severe toothache. I said forget that, they’re seeing me too! It’s a shame! I felt like I was going to pass out. We felt so hopeless. On top of that; the nurse that night was so ugly to us; mind you my husband and I are both there in separate rooms on the phone. The doctor told my husband to open his mouth, laughed at him and said we can’t do anything about that and offered to shoot him up with antibiotics with no pain relief.I am completely disappointed with the care denied and then the care received when I returned. I have no true diagnosis. Only told fever-unspecified. I don’t know if I have an upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, cold, etc. I just know, no Covid and I thank God for that.

This place is a complete ripoff! Almost $3000 for 2 X-rays and less than 2 hours in a room! All of the people acted like they were being put out by helping you! Had to return twice to get the prescription on the correct paper so we could get it filled! Go somewhere else!Update-the doctor that “treated” my wife filed completely fraudulent charges to my insurance company. He did not do any type of treatment! The owners respond and say they want to hear more from you, but if you fill out the contact form, you never hear back! This place is a complete scam!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
