Infection ignored for far too many months by dr Kahn. Was sent to every other specialist for ongoing pain including a neurologist but never checked/treated for infection until many many months later . My husband had 7 additional surgeries on his left knee and he is still in ferocious pain daily and may end up losing the knee. Coming here was the worst mistake of our lives. This has destroyed us.

The doctor is great but a doctor is only as good as the staff or process. The staff is very nice and helpful. The process is atrocious. Had an appointment for 930. They called and changed it to 1000. When we got there it was revealed to us that not only were we double booked, they had booked too many patients with in the same hour. 4 in the back, 9 people in the waiting room. At least two patients have gone back by 10:22 am. The excuse was that the doctor was behind. Well no **** he’s behind. You booked too many people at the same time. Clear your calendar folks, you’re going to be there a while.
I been seeing Doctor Khan for several years he is an awesome and caring Doctor.. I had several issues with my shoulders and Elbow and he always fix the problem... Fantastic Doctor
Awesome Doctor (Amir Kahn)!! But one should beware billing office is awe full , will not refund any over-payment to you and will fight you the whole way. Even to to point of making up extra charges and adding additional billing codes, 3 months after surgery (vindictive behavior)! I would and am calling fraud on this, contacting appropriate BCBS and MediCare reps. Again , great Doctor, but will not use again because of Business Office Practices!!! Thanks Darla & Tiffany (their in billing dept.)!! This will be a fun game to play!!! All you had to do was your JOBS, process PPW and issue a refund! But have it your way.
Dr Khan is a very Caring, Honest and Professional Dr.
Before I visited there, I explained that I broke my pinky finger and need to have surgery . And they said bring your X-ray and come to see a Doctor. I waited for 2hr and met Dr Khan. He said he is not a hand surgeon and introduced the other doctor far from there. Even he didn’t check anything on my hand. They charged me $50 copay. What a waste time and money! Worst experience and never visit there. They just wanted to earn money.
Let me start off by saying that Dr. Wenger is a brilliant surgeon. As a former trauma nurse clinician for the largest teaching hospital in the metroplex I have worked with hundreds of upcoming surgeons. After a while one starts to develop a sense of which doctors are truly gifted and which are just going through the motions. Dr. Wenger is definitely the former (truly gifted). I would happily recommend him to anyone, right after he fires his entire billing staff. As a result of their billing error I am now faced with an extra $1200 bill to TIOS and the overwhelming task of trying to get a refund from the surgery center. When I went to the office to discuss the error they gave me the tired old excuse of "the office manager is in a meeting". When I talked to the billing department, their excuse was "it's not our fault" "it's your insurance's fault" and "if the hospital owes you a refund you'll have to talk to them, it's not our fault". While it may not be "your fault" it IS certainly your problem because now you have created an angry patient who just told the entire world about his horrible experience with TIOS.

Dr. Khan is an extremely knowledgeable and truly caring surgeon! Every step of the way, he takes time to explain your specific situation and then references you to ensure you understand. It is a privilege to see Dr. Khan if you need an orthopedist. The education and experience Dr. Khan brings to TIOS and DFW is beyond impressive. Here's snapshot of Dr. Khan's work history: * NFL * X-Games * San Jose Ballet * Athletics for Stanford University and Santa Clara University * NCAA Division Tournaments for basketball, soccer and volleyball Impossible to say enough about Dr. Khan as he is basically wonderful* If you have an injury or orthopedic issue, do yourself a solid and make an appointment with Dr. Khan. You will absolutely have a better quality of life!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
