Infection ignored for far too many months by dr Kahn. Was sent to every other specialist for ongoing pain including a neurologist but never checked/treated for infection until many many months later . My husband had 7 additional surgeries on his left knee and he is still in ferocious pain daily and may end up losing the knee. Coming here was the worst mistake of our lives. This has destroyed us.

The doctor is great but a doctor is only as good as the staff or process. The staff is very nice and helpful. The process is atrocious. Had an appointment for 930. They called and changed it to 1000. When we got there it was revealed to us that not only were we double booked, they had booked too many patients with in the same hour. 4 in the back, 9 people in the waiting room. At least two patients have gone back by 10:22 am. The excuse was that the doctor was behind. Well no **** he’s behind. You booked too many people at the same time. Clear your calendar folks, you’re going to be there a while.
I been seeing Doctor Khan for several years he is an awesome and caring Doctor.. I had several issues with my shoulders and Elbow and he always fix the problem... Fantastic Doctor
Dr Khan is a very Caring, Honest and Professional Dr.
Awesome Doctor (Amir Kahn)!! But one should beware billing office is awe full , will not refund any over-payment to you and will fight you the whole way. Even to to point of making up extra charges and adding additional billing codes, 3 months after surgery (vindictive behavior)! I would and am calling fraud on this, contacting appropriate BCBS and MediCare reps. Again , great Doctor, but will not use again because of Business Office Practices!!! Thanks Darla & Tiffany (their in billing dept.)!! This will be a fun game to play!!! All you had to do was your JOBS, process PPW and issue a refund! But have it your way.
Let me start off by saying that Dr. Wenger is a brilliant surgeon. As a former trauma nurse clinician for the largest teaching hospital in the metroplex I have worked with hundreds of upcoming surgeons. After a while one starts to develop a sense of which doctors are truly gifted and which are just going through the motions. Dr. Wenger is definitely the former (truly gifted). I would happily recommend him to anyone, right after he fires his entire billing staff. As a result of their billing error I am now faced with an extra $1200 bill to TIOS and the overwhelming task of trying to get a refund from the surgery center. When I went to the office to discuss the error they gave me the tired old excuse of "the office manager is in a meeting". When I talked to the billing department, their excuse was "it's not our fault" "it's your insurance's fault" and "if the hospital owes you a refund you'll have to talk to them, it's not our fault". While it may not be "your fault" it IS certainly your problem because now you have created an angry patient who just told the entire world about his horrible experience with TIOS.
Before I visited there, I explained that I broke my pinky finger and need to have surgery . And they said bring your X-ray and come to see a Doctor. I waited for 2hr and met Dr Khan. He said he is not a hand surgeon and introduced the other doctor far from there. Even he didn’t check anything on my hand. They charged me $50 copay. What a waste time and money! Worst experience and never visit there. They just wanted to earn money.

Dr. Khan is an extremely knowledgeable and truly caring surgeon! Every step of the way, he takes time to explain your specific situation and then references you to ensure you understand. It is a privilege to see Dr. Khan if you need an orthopedist. The education and experience Dr. Khan brings to TIOS and DFW is beyond impressive. Here's snapshot of Dr. Khan's work history: * NFL * X-Games * San Jose Ballet * Athletics for Stanford University and Santa Clara University * NCAA Division Tournaments for basketball, soccer and volleyball Impossible to say enough about Dr. Khan as he is basically wonderful* If you have an injury or orthopedic issue, do yourself a solid and make an appointment with Dr. Khan. You will absolutely have a better quality of life!
Dr.Khan, friendly, professional, expend time with the patients and wonderful staff.
I have been seeing Dr. Kahn for 2 months for a fractured shoulder and thus far I have been very pleased.Natalie Doctor Kahn's nurse has been AMAZING! She always calls me back and answers my questions and I have had a lot of questions!
This is the most Awesome Dr ever he gave me an injection in my hip when my local Athens Dr said it wasn't possible. I'm gonna need a hip replacement eventually and no other Dr will touch me except for Dr Khan. Thank you so much
Great Doctor, horrible office management. When you make an appointment, plan to wait at least an hour before getting called to a room, then wait some more. I don't get why doctor offices can't schedule the day a bit better. For a simple fracture and follow ups, we have waisted hours of our lives sitting in the waiting room. If the doc can't see me until 4:15, then don't make my appointment at 3:00. Just be sure to plan for 2 or 3 hours at the office and take a good book.
Amazing doctor with great bedside manner. He really listens and tells it like it is. Our entire family uses Dr. Khan. He has resolved all our orthopedic needs in a quick and efficient manner. He gets the job done!!!
Dr. Kahn is a very thorough and professional physician. I believe the care I received from him was excellent and my medical issue has, for the most part, been resolved. My problem rests in the fact that almost everytime I saw him there were huge delays and waits. That includes waiting in pre-surgery for an extra hour and a half because a member of the team didn't get the word that the time had been changed. Another huge delay at their lab and with the followup appointment. Too many patients.
Dr Kahn has been my doctor since a compound fracture to my right ankle Feb 2011. His office had been very supportive during two bone surgeries that year, a shoulder injury, and a knee injury. The front desk is always kind and doctor Kahn is thorough and professional.
I had a great experience with Dr. Khan. I had scuffed up some cartilage in my right knee. Dr. Khan's experience instantly put me at ease. After 6 years with the 49ers medical staff I felt confident he had seen it a hundred times before. He is also thoughtful. My surgery was delayed by an hour, so he called my daughter to let her know she didn't need to show up at the previously arrange time. He asked her for her phone number and called her after my surgery. She showed up just in time to take me home. I don't know another doctor who would take time to call a family member, like he did. He's a great guy!
Dr. Khan is a very caring and extremely brilliant surgeon. He is trained at every level of sports medicine. I wouldn't take my family to anyone else.
Dr. Khan comes across a caring, suave person. And thats where his medicine ends. He is a calculating, manipulative, self-serving fellow. More interested in getting his D-magagine rating for 'best whatever'. In my case, he hugely mis-diagnosed knee issue. Then he insisted on me going to another doctor -- then, without my consent, he transferred me to his colleague. His colleague then came up with an entirely new diagnosis, requiring new surgery. I was left with complete mis-trust in this fellow.
