I had such a positive experience with Dr. Bashyam and his staff. They were all sweet and professional. Dr. Bashyam listened to my issues, addressed them, then asked me if I had any questions or concerns. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Bashyam and his staff, he will be my permanent endocrinologist.
Great experience, answered all my questions, very supportive and efficient staff.
The best endocrinologist I’ve gone to as an adult. I’ve had Type 1 Diabetes for over 20 years and he’s the only one that understands I mostly need a doctor to fill my insulin prescriptions and lets me make my own decisions about my care! He also allowed me to have a successful 2nd pregnancy with no complications and stress from the doctor at all, did not judge about my food choices or make me feel bad about anything the entire time! The staff really took great care of me.
Staff is great, Dr works with you and listens and makes plans, Great place and service is top notch. I would recommend if you need a endocrinologist.
I read some of the previous reviews and was concerned whether I was going to be treated appropriately. I've now seen the Dr two different times and found him very professional yet he explained everything to me in layman's terms that I could understand. He answered all my questions and set me up on a maintenance program not only for my diabetes but for my Graves. I would highly recommend this physician!
Dr. Bashyam was recommend by my PCP after searching for an endo who is willing to see me. Since I suffer from complex PTSD, he understands there are a lot of issues with me being there. He knows I can be difficult to work with but he’s always pleasant and supportive. He’s been outstanding with care and we see each other yearly (virtual appt) so I can get my TRT meds. I would not go anywhere else. There are lots of issues with his staff and their inability to treat the patient with respect, which is frustrating. I’ve also had dozens of issues with something as simple as getting a script sent to the right pharmacy in a timely manner. I can kind-of overlook these big issues as long as I can get my TRT at the dosage I need and but I have to constantly be on top of it, like a full time job.
I recently had an appointment with Dr. Mani, an endocrinologist recommended by my primary care physician to address some concerns related to my diabetics. While my experience with Dr. Mani had its pros, it left me with mixed feelings due to what I perceived as a lack of in-depth research knowledge. On the positive side, Dr. Smith displayed excellent bedside manners and was genuinely interested in understanding my health concerns. Their ability to communicate in a clear and empathetic manner made me feel comfortable during our consultation. They were also punctual, and the staff at the clinic was friendly and accommodating. However, where my experience fell short was in the depth of their research knowledge. I expected an endocrinologist to have an up-to-date understanding of the latest research, treatment options, and emerging therapies in the field. Unfortunately, I felt that Dr. Mani's knowledge was somewhat not to the level I was expected. They seemed to rely heavily on conventional treatments and didn't provide much insight into newer or alternative approaches. Furthermore, when I asked specific questions about recent studies or alternative treatment options, Dr. Mani appeared somewhat uncertain and was not able to provide detailed answers. It left me feeling that I might need to seek a second opinion from a specialist with a deeper understanding of the latest advancements in endocrinology. In conclusion, Dr. Mani is a caring and personable endocrinologist who excels in patient communication and empathy. However, their knowledge in the field, particularly in staying up-to-date with the latest research and treatments, left something to be desired. If you have straightforward endocrine issues that require standard treatments, Dr. Mani may be a suitable choice. Still, if you're dealing with more complex or cutting-edge health concerns, you might want to explore other specialists who can offer a more comprehensive and research-driven approach to your care.
Dr. Bashyam is an awesome Dr. but his staff at Dr. Mani Bashyam lacks people skills.
Horrible office staff very rude and not helpful good luck trying to get an appointment before a minimum of a month.
I would never suggest even calling this place let alone trying to make an appointment. The staff is entitled and rude. They hang up on you. They talk down to you. They disrespect you. They talk over you. Need I say more? There's several women, they are no ladies!.. they even refuse to tell me their names, huh.. wonder why that is, that's obvious why. They have been very argumentative when I'm just trying to ask a question and they also told me I was late and refused my appointment. According to their text confirmation I was right on time, in fact a minute early! They said new patients should be 15 mins early. Ok , well then don't text me and expect me to arrive early when you text me the confirmation time and I'm there early and you still refuse me. Sick people sick behavior. No thank you. I pay 1,400.00 a month for my private insurance. I have great insurance and I can find an Endo or even better, a functional medicine Dr that will treat me way way better with respect and class. And functional medicine Drs actually treat the Thyroid and Hashimotos. This clinic would not. The women, not ladies, at this clinic are rude, disrespectful and class-less. Their loss. No wonder they have the least wait time at their locations , cause their staff threats people inhumane. No wonder they refuse to say their name, they are obviously ashamed of themselves as they should be. You all should be looking for a job that has no people contact. I will be reporting these women and taking further action. They don't even understand thyroid like a functional medicine Dr does. Treatment of thyroid and taking blood tests would include TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Revere T3 and TPO, tgAb, TSI and TrAb antibodies. You cannot just go by TSH and treat it solely based on TSH level with T4. They are a very inexperienced unhelpful clinic. My recommendation, stay far away.
