List of Fred Ghali's Reviews
Though Dr. Ghali is a capable doctor I found his bedside manner poor. When I spoke of an over-the-counter product that seemed to work well for my daughter's eczema, he rolled his eyes. When my other daughter received treatment for her molluscum and I voiced frustration to his nurse about it's repeated occurrence, he came into the exam room and spoke very rudely to me and made a snarky comment that I could keep bringing my daughter in until she's 21 years old (she was 3 years old at the time) or treat her at home. I was astonished with how he spoke to me. Dr. Ghali was the only pediatric dermatologist available under my medical insurance plan or else I would have found another doctor.
Dr. Ghali and his staff provide excellent care for my daughter.
Mask optional COVID policy but ALL of the office staff are not wearing masks. For a medical practice, I expected more care and caution. P.S. For parents with younger children, most of the patients are teenagers with their parents. (Of course no one was wearing a mask).
Dr. Ghali has had my daughter on creams for more than a year without any improvement. We had previously been told to start do dupixent and he told us not to. now after a third opinion that’s exactly where we are starting. I hate that I wasted more than a year following his regimen. His office staff is rude and unhelpful.
Nobody answers the phone... ever! I have left messages and nobody calls back... ever!!
I called this place for a week and no one would answer. Left voice-mails and still no call back. I have no idea how this place even exists. Answering the phone is just basic business.
If I could actually get a call back from my messages that would be great! My pediatrician and the nurses I take my son to said the same thing. They sent my information but they said this office hardly get back to you and you have to call them and that they're hard to get a hold of. Boy were they right. I dont know if its pure laziness or the office not caring but I have yet to see the Dr or get a call back and I'm already not excited about it.
It’s very difficult to watch your child suffer. This is the best treatment my 15 year old son has ever received for his eczema, EVER! If your child is suffering from a dermatological problem, PLEASE, take your child to see Dr Ghali and his wonderful staff at Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas. You won’t regret it!
My daughter's pediatrician referred this Dr. Ghali specifically giving him praise. I scheduled an appointment with the office in September... two weeks later I received a reminder that the appt was with the nurse practitioner. So I called and let the same person answering the phone know that I wanted to see the doctor specifically. She exclaimed that I was told originally that it was with the nurse. I said look this is not an argument and what I wanted. I also mentioned that good customer skills is apart of her job, etc. So she set the appointment another 2 weeks later stating he wasn't available until then. The next week I called to let them know my child's issue is worsening, can I get in sooner. She asked could I come in the next hour. I did. Dr. Ghalil came in and said the "nurse practitioner" (which was in the room and asked more questions) knew more than he (being facetious), and everything he suggested he asked for the nurse's approval... she was tickled by it. He sat on the counter in the room and did not touch or come close to my daughter... none of them did. He asked what she was given by the pediatrician and prescribed her something. He surely was being sarcastic and maybe cause of our skin color or what he was not going to touch her... Very unprofessional and so was his staff. I will be telling my pediatrician... don't recommend him. He is an immature mess. By the way my daughter's condition is much worse :(
I don’t normally do reviews but I am highly impressed with Dr. Ghali and his PA Nicole. I have taken my youngest son to Cooks for the bumps on his legs with NO success even after several visits. I wanted a second opinion and Dr. Ghali looked at the bumps and treated them. With one treatment he made my kiddo feel better and happy the bumps are finally going away. Thank you Dr. Ghali and Nicole.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
