Steven Mottl's Online Review Report Card

Dr Mottl is very personable and easy to talk to about any health issues. It was recommended that I get a ECG. I figured after a few weeks, I would get contacted by the office about my results. I’ve emailed and called multiple times over the course of months, no response. No follow up. It’s unfortunate that the office staff falls short.

Dr. Mottl is the worst, most inconsiderate, incompetent, patronizing doctor I have ever seen in my life. My entire visit he would not stop talking about Covid and processed foods and himself. He never once asked me a question about me or my health. I left my appointment crying and I received absolutely zero help. This man asked my mother (who is not the patient) what her weight was during my appointment. We both were appalled and infuriated by this man and how the appointment went. My visit was a complete waste of time. Dr. Mottl claimed that POTS(my diagnosis) is not a real thing and that “GI doctors know nothing about gut health.”Never have I met a man so entitled, with such a god complex. This man is ignorant and my mother and I both wish that we had never had to speak to him. He invalidates your health issues and makes you feel unheard and unimportant as a patient. I will never see this doctor again and I believe that he is not qualified to treat patients.

Very thorough. Always takes plenty of time and answers any questions or concerns.

Went in to see him after my visit to the ER was having in pain in my chest directly where my heart is, was absolutely terrified about it. Doc comes in, sees me for 5 minutes listens to heart and says I think your heart is skipping beats and you have high blood pressure. Then proceeded to say schedule an echo. Then walks me out. I schedule the echo, problems with that but won't get into it here. After I do my echo, I'm expecting a follow-up in a few days. 4 days go by nothing, call the office and they say he'll get to me. I wait an entire week still nothing. Went to my pcp he was able to get my echo, thank fully heart looks clean. So next step is to look at GI. Point is, he treated me like a number. Didn't even follow up. Highly don't recommend this place or this doctor. Grapevine location next to the hospital.

appointment at 8AM, Doctor arrives at 8:31,leaves at 8:36. Enough said

He answers all my questions, taking as much time as needed. Would not consider a different cardiologist

Great fantastic!! I seen Dr Mottl after complaining of shortness of the breath and feeling lightheaded after going to the ER a few day earlier with tests coming back normal this was the 2nd time this happen. Dr Mottl showed so much concern and passion for what he does. Immediately had me scheduled for CTA so he could look further. Explained how he will be able to see everything regarding the heart. He has the greatest personality. I’m so glad I picked him as my Doctor he even told me how to treat acid reflux and what to do regarding my sinus. I tried it and was able to get some sleep last night more than normal. If you want a Dr that is caring he’s the one!!!

I was 15 minutes early to my appointment and waited until an hour AFTER my appointment and was never seen or moved even to a room. Meanwhile 2 of his other patients who came in after me and had later appointments got moved directly into rooms. Knowing I wasn't going to be seen I finally just gave up and walked out. I let the receptionist know I was giving up and she replied with a snotty comment telling "fine then". Doesn't matter how good the doctor is if you can't see him. Obviously I will be finding someone else that wants my money

Doctor Mottl is awesome. He spends time with you and treats you like you matter.

Dr. Mottl has a great personality. I told him I preferred prevention and natural treatments over drugs. He walks the walk when it comes to good health and was able to name for me the cutting edge nutritional and alternative remedies in cardiovascular treatment such as Co-Q10 and Bergamot. I can't say enough about him. Very genuine and personable doctor.
