Hunt Regional Medical Center- Emergency Room's Online Review Report Card

People working are slow and not very nice. Sick people are seated with injured people. Not cool! They should be separated! Was there 2.5 hours and finally left. I couldn't take the pain, length of time it was taking, people with flu sitting next to me and on the other end puking patients. The entire lobby wreaked of puke. Bathrooms were so nasty! And, the ER was way too slow!

Wow, fantastic experience. Great staff and doctor, set everything up fast and efficient. Definitely the experts, Hunt Regional is very lucky to have such a dedicated crew on staff at 5:30 in the morning.

Apparently the bull was tougher than I and I Know I was in great hands probably doesn't sound good but for being at an ER again it was like they actually care instead of just being #4

I have to say that they probably saved my life by making the call to air flight me to Baylor Plano and I appreciate the doctors and staff for moving fast and expediceliously I have 10 grandbabies to watch grow up and I want to be here for them.I love them with my heart and soul

Hunt Regional emergency room has the best nurses and staff than anywhere I have ever went… The nurses go above and beyond your expectations they make sure everything is done in a timely manner as well… This is one of the best hospitals ever!!!!!! Please keep up the good work… Because people are noticing that y’all are doing an amazing job.

Exceptional service. I fell and fractured my wrist. They took me back immediately. From the Nurses to the Doctor to the X-ray tech, I was treated with kindness. I was in and out quickly which was important, because I had family waiting in the lobby. The treatment went smoothly. They even called my home the next morning to check on me. I’m thankful for all the staff.

Hunt County Regional Hospital needs appropriate ”Handicap” accessible parking spaces. In the front of this hospital there are 27 marked handicap spaces. Of those 27 only 11 parking spaces meet the requirements of handicap. The other 16 parking spaces that are marked handicap do not meet the requirements. Of those 16 one cannot get a wheelchair between the cars. A handicap parking space is 96 inches wide with a 60 inch wide aisle. This allows for a wheelchair to be accessed to and from the car. Hunt County Regional Hospital does not have one wheelchair accessible restroom facility for the general public. I understand the cost in providing the above items. But funding is available. This is a hospital where sick and crippled people come to get medical care. Provide the basic needed facilities for such customers.

I had to visit the e r after blacking out and falling. The reception, triage, e r nurses, and even the attending physician were excellent, after a c t scan they found two fractured vertebrae in my neck, after talking with the attending physician, he informed me it would be best to be transferred to med city McKinney for proper care. Greenville’s radiologist couldn’t say for sure if it was an old injury or from the recent fall. I told him I felt it was from a car accident I was in in 2018, and i would go to McKinney on my on since I had walked in there. The reason I was there was to find out why I blacked out. He insisted I go by ambulance, he said they couldn’t let me go on my own. Now I will be in debt for an expensive ambulance transport. They redid the c t scan at McKinney and their radiologist had no problem seeing it was an old injury. So that had nothing to do with anything! I am very upset that they are costing me so much more money because of an inept radiologist.

Staffing 1 doctor for the ER is not a good practice. Your staff do not show that they care for those that decide to use this ER for their medical care. Need to go back and rethink your way of health care for the community you're providing. I've always heard that this hospital and ER is one of the worst and it showed when I attempt to go there. This is the 2nd time I've gone to this facility just to waste my time.

It was very pleasant experience, wait time seemed to be a little long but they were busy, will go there again.
