This office had the soonest availability and I needed to be seen this calendar year, so I booked an appointment. I blanked on having my old records sent over. But somehow the doc could spend less than five minutes in the room with me, be focused on a different issue than the one I came in for, and still have no problem writing a script for a skin issue that isn't currently flaring up so he can't see if my claim is valid? Without records from my other doctor to confirm? Idk man. At least ask if I have a picture of how bad it was like my previous derm usually did. I also REALLY dislike the fact that the office was blasting loud religious music in the waiting room. I get that it's a small town in Texas but seriously. Office staff was at least super nice though, and it was nice to at least see an actual physician instead of an APRN or PA.

We went in for my 18 y/o son who has a dark spot appear on his lip and stay for over a year. Dr. Dunnigan looked at it and as I believed he said it showed all signs of lip cancer. He biopsied the spot, and my son that is afraid of needles said he made it nearly painless and not fearful at all. He talked us through the entire time, and only needed one stitch afterwards. Healed beautiful with absolutely ZERO scar. He scheduled a two week follow up but called within a week to let us know it came back benign, we were so relieved. The efficiency is was refreshing and the fact that they let us know right away to ease our minds was so great. I will say if you are look for a doctor to hold your hand & make you laugh & spend a lot of time “hanging out” with you, find someone else. If you want a Doctor that is knowledgeable, efficient, and takes care of your issues, instead of coddling you and pumping you full of pills, this is the Doctor for you. He is very thorough and honestly he treats your examination with sincerity and efficiency, with the same care as if you were his son/daughter/wife/mother. He cares about his work, and does a great job at it. He isn’t in it for the insurance, he is in it for YOU & YOUR HEALTH AND TO SAVE LIVES. Staff is friendly. Love the office atmosphere. Dr Michael Dunnigan is an excellent physician who knows more than the last Dermatologist I went to. He also diagnosed my Celiac by a simple rash biopsy years ago. So grateful.

If I could I would give him 0 stars. I had a lot of questions that went unanswered. He didn’t introduce himself or ask me what my concerns were. When I told him I had moles I’d like checked on my shoulders and back he started to lift my shirt to look…that made me really uncomfortable. Do they not provide gowns? He also froze a wart on my knuckle…it’s so big now I can hardly bend my finger. When I asked about my acne he didn’t listen to my questions just gave me a prescription. I went with my son who has a growth in his nose. He said it looked like a polyp and then a few minutes later he said skin tag…so what is it! Instead of answers I left with questions. I’m so disappointed. He didn’t seem to want to be there. Somehow my 3:00 appointment (I got there at 2:45 per instructions) turned into a 4:45 appointment with the long wait. The best part of the visit was the nurse…if only the doctor was as nice and caring as her.

I did not have a good experience with this facility. 3 visits and did not feel like the diagnosis or treatment were well explained. Did not feel like the doctor took time to do a very thorough physical examination. The nurse left a vm on my phone with biopsy results stating I "did not have cancer" which was never a consideration or concern. Their billing is a nightmare: could be invoiced under ...

The Doctor and his staff were wonderful.

Everyone was so caring. I'm very confident in Dr. Michael Dunnigan and I will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

As always Doctor Dunnigan and the staff were great and took wonderful care of me. After surgery the follow up was quick and had no issues at all. Both Doctor Dunnigan and his staff are knowledgeable and give you the best care around. Thank You for everything.
