Never been the type of person to leave a review but couldn't resist not sharing.My 70yr old grandmother struggled to see anything further than a arms link away due to a large cataract. Prior to surgery she depended solely on family to get to and from places and often struggled completing day to day tasks without assistance. Went in to see Dr. Peter Bealka for exam back in November cataract surgery in late December and now 2 month post operative is seeing 20/30 and no longer requiring prescription glasses.Thank you Dr. Peter Bealka & staff for such a wonderful experience. Words can not express how grateful we are.

Bealka Eye Surgery of Texas is my new home for all of my eyecare needs! I have been wearing glasses for 20+ years and never in my life have I seen more clearly! If you are looking for an ophthalmologist who will take your vision as serious as you do, then this is the place for you! Dr. Peter is an incredibly knowledgeable physician with exceptional bedside manner. I will definitely be recommending all of my friends and family to Bealka Eye Surgery of Texas from here on out.

My MIL was seen by Dr. Bealka. All I can say is GREAT EXPERIENCE! Staff was very accommodating. Dr. Bealka really put her mind at ease. Answered all her questions and made sure she understood. Would recommend to anyone!

Been going there for a few years now. They sent me an email to make my annual appointment, and I called... they never returned my call, so I submitted one online, per their instuctions... still no answer. I think I'll go somewhere else from now on.

I liked Dr Bealka. No problem at all. But, the assistant who came in and did the beginning things was wearing her mask below her nose, which is like wearing no mask at all in a tiny room with no space for social distancing. I asked her to pull up her mask. He tried to make excuses, but did finally, sort of pull it partially up. I was very uncomfortable. Also, they were using an infrared thermometer and taking temperatures on the back of people's hands. I have never seen that. I tried it when I got home, and it was .8º lower than my forehead. I can find no information about using hands, and the medical people I asked said that was not acceptable. Everyone in there could have had a fever and they would not have known. I will not go back again as long as we have a pandemic. It's a shame, because I liked the doctor.

Called the Gatesville location and made an appointment to get fitted for contacts, specified I wished to be seen at the Gatesville location. They scheduled the appointment—Had to wait a month for the appointment, that’s fine...Showed up for my appointment only to be told I had called the Hillsboro location to be seen there, and I could not be fitted at the Gatesville location. Pulled up my phone call history to prove I called the Gatesville location. What a waste of time, very disorganized business.I’d give negative stars if I could.

Dr Neil Bealka an entire staff from day one to the final visit of my cataract surgery were courteous professional informative and absolutely awesome! I was very anxious about cataract surgery and the entire seamless process was absolutely successful. Thanks to you all. Hope to see you all in 1 year. Be blessed.
