Had such a pleasant and efficient visit with Dr. Larson, highly recommend this office location. Staff is friendly, efficient and take very good care of the patients.

Dr. Larsen was very quick and thorough. I don't think I've ever had such a quick doctor's visit anywhere. He dialated my eyes which only took an extra 10 minutes and was worth it to make sure the testing was done properly. Had a great experience. Thank you, Dr. Larsen!

TAKE YOUR EYE CARE NEEDS ELSEWHERE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE BY INEPT STAFF. Prior to appt., called in to confirm insurance covered visit. On day of appt., was then told visit was not covered. Paid balance. Then received a bill for additional balance due, which was never mentioned at time of visit.

After the good reviews I read, I was extremely disappointed in this entire operation. I am full-time RV and have recently been diagnosed with wet, age related macular degeneration. The initial treatment requires that I receive an injection in my eye every four weeks. Dr Zak was to be the fourth injection. When I made the appointment (over three weeks in advance), I explained what it was for and was told that there would be no problem. I gave them all my information, including insurance information, so the shot could be pre-approved. When I got to my Monday appointment, they had no idea why I was there. The summary of the visit says I came in because of blurred vision. THEN I was told that I would have to come back on Friday after they were able to get insurance authorization. I drove to a different office for the Friday appointment, and had to wait THREE AND A HALF HOURS for the injection. I requested a summary of the visit so I could have information for my doctors back in Iowa. I was given a summary of the first visit. They said they would email me the second summary. I am still waiting after four days. There was NO spoken or written after care instructions. I knew what to do from previous injections. I would never go back or ever recommend this place to anyone. I called today and there was no answer at the office where I got my injection. I called the main number and was directed to medical records where I had to leave a message on voice mail. I am not expecting a call back and absolutely expect to have to follow up on this again. UPDATE: They never called back. I called again on Wed the 23rd. When I asked for Medical Records, they said, "Which office?" I answered, "Weslaco" and was connected to the McAllen office where someone actually emailed me the needed information.

If i could give this place a 0 star i would, Dr.Arson horrible doctor went in several times and was never told anything any time i would ask a question he would just brush me off and tell me to come back next time, wasted time and money, dont go to this doctor horrible place.

Do not come here for eyecare! There are other doctors who have better services and have trained their staff a lot better than those who work here. Waiting, waiting, and waiting to be seen because either they overbooked or are waiting for the doctor to show up is not right. No explanations offered, no apology, just the direct commands of "place this over your left eye". I think the techs are running the office and the robots up front just keep adding more victims; the doctors just do not seem concern of the time the patients wait to see them ("we are doctors, shut up and wait for me, I'll get to you when I do" seems to be their attitude) . I found a highly regarded doctor within 2 hours after walking out from the exam rooms after complaining to the tech and supervisor. The supervisor was honest enough to state that if I did not like it I could always go somewhere else. This attitude will cause a slow but steady decline of the patient count and hopefully put an end to the total disregard of concern for the patient's time. I repeat: "DO NOT COME HERE FOR EYECARE"!
