List of Naiara Alvarez's Reviews
Dr doesnt even see pt, but put pt with PA and NP for both times. Charges still specialist fee. Long wait time. Always have worst experience. Only reason going there is my ins only covers this person.
My visits have been fine. I have been a patient for 7 yrs. The problem is with their authorization intermediarie. This process is very confusing and takes a lengthy amount of time (1 month plus). Every other doctor I go to processes the renewal immediately. I have an email on the way home from the visit. Secondly the staff needs a class in effective communication. I was neither called back or put on hold for 40 minutes, ridiculous. This is pretty crazy since I have been going there for 7 years.
I was a little hesitant having to switch doctor's when my Rheumatologist of many years, Dr Nunnery, retired. Dr Nunnery recommended that I register as a patient with Dr Alvarez n I'm glad I did. Dr Alvarez, along with her PAs offer quality patient care n support. Her office staff is very professional n courteous.
Initial visit: Was informed the first visit is with PA to start labs, then I would meet with Dr Alvarez in the second visit. Staff is laid back and very nice. The Intake male nurse is nice and professional, he knows his work. The checkout staff are friendly but could use a second person so people don't have to wait. The waiting in the assigned room tends to take a bit longer but there are signs that let you know it could take two hours (that's good they give you heads up). Let's see what the next visit looks like.
This place is worse than a fast food restaurant in that they ALWAYS forget to send in at least one prescription in a multiple prescription order. My wife ALWAYS has to call many, many times just to get the one they forgot sent in to the pharmacy. DO NOT leave the clinic without double checking they've gotten EVERYTHING right.
Horrible, the Doctor prefers to be out on vacation than to actually see her patients. That office has rescheduled my mother’s appointment more than 3 times already and she is in severe pain and needs to be seen. If she prefers to be out on vacation for 3 months then the medical field is not for her and she needs to find another career, this is insane
Do not recommend this doctor at ALL!!!!!!
Finally after three year being sick I meet a doctor that was able to tell me what’s wrong with my health. Thank you Doctor. I feel much better now.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dr. Alvarez has been my RA Dr for 3 yrs. She took me from a state of severe arthritis pain to a life that is back to my pre-arthritis condition. She listens to you, she understands you and she treats you. My treatment conditions to heal my pain. Bless you Dr . Alvarez !!
Waited almost 2 hours before I left without seeing a doctor for an appointment I had scheduled 4 months ago. I guess if you’re an established patient they will put new patients before you. Very unprofessional overall. I scheduled a video consultation and they tried to scam me into paying a higher copay until I told them the correct copay for my insurance. Still haven’t seen a doctor. They told me they’d call me back but never did and they aren’t answering the phone. Very frustrating when people don’t do their job. I don’t even live in town, they wasted my whole day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
