Dr. Stewart practices radiology and she is the best I've seen in her field. She has been attentive to my medical needs and I am thankful that she had been reading my x-rays. She found on x-ray films what others had overlooked. Radiology is a specialty and radiologist do not write for consults to other specialties. Consulting other specialties is the job of the doctor that ordered the x-rays or go back to their primary care doctor. The other reviewer is in need of further care and should be gently guided on what to do. I agree, it is difficult to navigate the correct pathway to get care in this complex medical world. Dr. Stewart is an excellent radiologist and I know she is highly respected in her field. I would not hesitate to place my life in her hands.

She is dismissive and doesn’t listen to the concerns of the patient. It’s also very difficult to get a straight answer from her and for her to communicate her reasons. Forget about trying to get a referral from her. She kept trying to send me to the clinic despite my asking for a referral for 3 weeks due to underlying conditions and not wanted to be treated by residents as a result. Then she lied to me that she would put in a referral and never did. My insurance gives me the right to go to a specialist outside of the clinic, but I couldn’t because she wouldn’t give the referral after several requests. Then, the 2 specialists were all booked up by then. Get another doctor. She doesn’t care.

He was my OB/GYN when I lived in Rochester in the 1990s and he was the best I have found over the many years in 4 different States!
