Since 2016, I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rubio at Today’s Vision. She is very knowledgeable, courteous, and compassionate. Dealing with astigmatism & retinal issues, I always feel at ease in her care. The front staff has been a pleasure to speak to and have always had a pleasant experience. They are efficient and do not try to push any products, etc. like my past experiences at another office. Overall, it’s a cozy and warm vibe in their office and I highly recommend them!

Had a wonderful experience walking in to buy a new pair of glasses today. The front office staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The level of service was superb, especially compared to other locations we have been to. They took the time to explain the difference in the frames and lenses and our insurance benefits in a way that was clear and understandable. We will be using this office for our whole families needs.

Highly recommend knowledgeable staff and providers! Thanks to The thoroughness of eye exam performed by Dr. Rubio, she identified a retinal tear I did not know I had because it was not causing me any issues. I was able to be seen and had laser surgery performed that same day saving my eyesight!!

This place is great but recently I’ve been having issues with a lady who keeps answering the phone. I was on my stepdads insurance and because of my age I am no longer covered and switched over to my biological fathers insurance. I would call previous times to make sure what insurance plan they had in the data and the lady was never clear, she would always put me on hold for long periods of time and the last time I call she was rude and told me I should have written it down the first time. But there was never a clear response from her. With my yearly check up coming up I just simply wanted to know what was going to be covered so I can be better prepared before going into my exam. I miss the guy with the glasses answering the phone he was always so patient and understanding.. I still have yet to an answer and it’s dissapointing because most of the staff has always been so welcoming and understanding.

It had been wayyyy too long since I had an eye exam until I recently went to Today’s Vision in Helotes. Everyone was very friendly and never guilted me being so overdue. The exam was the most thorough exam I’ve ever had and I never felt rushed. The office staff was very informative and clear on what I’d be paying since I’m a cash customer. Also, the office was very nice and clean. I definitely recommend choosing Today’s Vision in Helotes.
