Very very very bad behavior of the staff Called them and the woman speaks very rude

He implanted a defibrillator/pacemaker for me. When my case was referred to him, he confidently made the decision of what I needed done to improve the quality of life and possibly save my life. I felt he is very competent and made me feel secure with the treatment plan.

Dr Rasekh is a very understanding doctor to me. He explains what is going on and allows me to ask questions. He was called in to do my cardiac fibrillation through my cardiologist. I like Dr Rasekh and plan to stay with him for my heart care.

I had Afib, and Dr. Rasekh eliminated it six months ago through a procedure called an ablation. He worked with me, and educated me on my options, whether to treat with drugs, or with the procedure. I always felt well informed and included in the decision, which made me at ease. I elected the procedure, as I didn’t want to deal with possible drug side effects. His bedside manner was excellent, and I am happy that he is my doctor.

I have never had a doctor so unskilled in dealing with a patient. He showed no interest in my elderly mother as a person, and spent most of his time looking at a computer screen and ignoring her. He also had made no effort to look at her chart before seeing her, and wasted our time asking basic questions that were well documented in her chart already. I do not care how skilled he may be technically. He has no people skills at all.

Dr. Rasekh performed a pulmonary vein isolation to fix my atrial fibrillation and did an outstanding job. I am very grateful to him and his staff for fixing my problems which had become progressively worse over a period of around 18 months since diagnosis. My procedure was performed at the Texas Heart Institute, and the level of care was very high - I would give him a very high recommendation.

Very professional and consise in his treatment and explanations. He is friendly and explains procedures so that anyone can understand. His staff and those who assist him at CHI St Luke’s are incredible. If you are looking for a first class Doctor to help you over come electrical issues with your heart, this is your Doctor.

I was an emergency case needing my ICD device and leads removed from my left chest and new ones installed in my right chest. I also needed a temporary pacemaker installed as I am dependent on the pacemaker. Dr. Rasekh new just what to do and called in the right team.
