Ive been a patient here for about 3 months and all i have to say is how grateful i am for the help I’ve received whether it’s physical help or mental help they took care of me. Im also very grateful for ms Rachel,ms Savitri dr tumi and ms parker i was able to understand my medical background more They helped me out a bunch! ms flor and and ms Beatrice and Reagan helped me alot too i have so many things to say about this place im just so happy to have let such wonderful help me throughout my healing. Thank you nexus staff
I had the opportunity to do my MSW Field Internship at Nexus Children's Hospital. It was such eye opening and educational experience for me. I had the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff at NCH and utilize what I learned in order to grow within my social work skills. I was able to watch the patients progress through their treatment and reach their goals. It was a rewarding experience that I will always treasure.
Nurse Jianyng is a AMAZING wound care nurse !!!!!! Very gentle and attentive ! Took care of me as if I was her child. Would really recommend for a child who needs 24 hour care. An great physical therapy !
No one should leave their child in this facility's care. I don't even know where to begin the level of incompetence I experienced there during my daughter's stay. They consistently gave her incorrect meds/times, the "doctor" refused to communicate or meet with me regarding medical concerns, they refused to adhere to her very strict transplant protocols and the staff actually called CPS and told them complete lies which of course were dismissed immediately because there was zero truth to them. I, myself, am a medical professional and my father is a Medical Doctor and they would not communicate with him either. They should be closed down. If I could give zero stars, I would.
It is a great place to have your kid to rehab and they are great people up there
The wound care team is the best. Mrs. Jian healed my foot so quick and good.
I worked at Nexus Children's this past summer as a social work intern while I was earning my master's degree, and I had an amazing experience working at this facility. The staff provides a high level of wholistic care through in-house physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, speech therapy, counseling, and medical care to every patient. The staff loves and cares deeply for the patients, and they work extremely hard to ensure their success and help them meet their goals. I was particularly blown away by the work of the clinical social worker, patient advocate, recreational therapists, and CNAs - they do truly amazing work. Nexus is in no way a completely perfect facility, but the staff and administration actively look for ways to continue to improve patient care, programming, and the system overall. This is such a cool and exciting place to work, and a place patients will gain the tools they need to be successful!
In February of 2021, our 13 year old granddaughter was in an accident and needed Neuro rehabilitation, the hospital in Louisiana said they would not accept her and Nexus HealthBridge stepped up and said they would. At first we were devastated to find that she would be so far away from home. Now she is in the final weeks of her recovery and she is going to be coming home. I cannot give enough praise to the hospital, doctors, nurses, CNA's, and all of the staff that treated her and us with kindness, respect, care and for helping her make the greatest progress we never thought would happen. They are truly miracle workers. We were scared at first but as the days went by and she was finally coming around, we do not believe that she would have been given such great care anywhere else. They' are some of the most amazing people that work there and dedicate their lives to our children. We can never thank them enough for all they do and did! They made the most horrible time of our lives much more bearable and gave us hope when we were facing the darkest days ever. We felt like we were part of the family each and every time we were there.
I truly recommend this place to others. There are so many to name on all shifts and in each department so what I will say is All the staff is awesome wonderful and caring. The work and help they do with all the patients and their individual needs is really remarkable. They have helped my son reach all his goals and then some. They have made me, a parent staying with my son, feel so comfortable and welcome also. We will def miss all the staff, but take everything they have tought us and continue with our healthy living with our family and our future goals. Thank you all here at Nexus Children's Hospital.
Nastiest place I've ever worked for. The employees are horrible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
