This office seems really disorganized. Couldn't get them to return a call for a first visit for a week. Then seemed really confused from my insurance referral and irritated that I am asking questions at all. I can't imagine that the visit would go any smoother. I will be choosing a different doctor for surgery.

Dr. Spiegel was amazing to work with!! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2020. That was during Covid so my first time meeting her was on a Zoom call. She thoroughly explained everything to me and showed me pictures that would help me understand what was going to happen. Everything I knew about implants had changed, but she put me at ease right away with her calm informative demeanor. Dr. Spiegel cares about her patients and wants them to feel beautiful and feminine when the process is over. She is very thorough! Dr. Nicole and Dr. Alexis also did a fabulous job each time I saw them! I highly recommend Dr. Spiegel and her staff! You will be happy you chose her, trust me!

Dr. Spiegel and her team have truly changed my life! I came to her after experiencing failed reconstruction from a different surgeon. I was emotionally paralyzed and traumatized by all that had occurred. She helped me sort through what was right and what was wrong with all that happened. She helped me move forward by creating a beautiful miracle on my chest and healed my mind, heart and body! Dr. Spiegel and her team are Amazing and I am forever Grateful to them and to God for leading me to them!

I was referred to Dr. Spiegel after bi-lateral cancer was discovered and recommendations were to have a double mastectomy. Before meeting Dr. Spiegel, I reviewed the numerous procedures and options on her website. I learned a tremendous amount and knew what questions to ask at our first meeting. She immediately provided a peace about the recommended procedures for my circumstances. Her assistants and staff provided all the information I needed during the decision making process. I was provided a detailed timeline of how to prepare for the surgery and recovery! The entire process was laid out for me. When challenges were presented after a pre-surgery scan, Dr. Spiegel let me know she would do her best. And she did. Everything has gone extremely well and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any woman considering a double mastectomy, especially the DIEP Flap procedure. I don’t think I could have chosen anyone better and I am thankful for the knowledge, expertise, and care of Dr. Spiegel, her PA, NP, and office staff. You won’t find a team that works harder for your health and well-being. They are all top notch!

I feel so fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Spiegel and her team. Through an incredibly difficult period they have been a source of comfort and hope. My results under her care and skill have been beyond anything I could ever have imagined.

I went to Dr SPIEGEL after I was diagnosed with the BRCA-2 gene. She recommended a breast lift and reduction, followed by a double mastectomy, followed by fat grafting over the implants. I am at the end of the journey and could not be happier or more satisfied with the results. I am in my mid-fifties and my body looks better after the surgery than it did prior. I was able to keep my nipples and the final result looks like I had excellent cosmetic surgery. The implants are very natural looking and feeling. My husband was at my side throughout the process and he too is ecstatic with the outcome. Dr SPIEGEL and her staff feel like family now. She and her two PAs are caring, compassionate, and skilled. I cannot sing their praises highly enough. The office staff are efficient and responsive. Everyone was quick to answer a question whether by phone or via My Chart app. I live a few hours from the office and we were able to combine in person visits with video visits to reduce the driving. What started out with terrible news, turned into a overall good experience. I work in healthcare and deal with doctors and nurses every day. Dr. SPIEGEL and her staff are amongst the best I have ever met.

I am a retired RNBSN. I do not participate in social media or believe that my opinion on everything in this world is more important than any other person. However, today I was marginalized as a woman, a patient, a human. I am scared. It will be my 4th breast surgery and I am running out of options. I was referred to dr.spiegel several months ago based on her surgical abilities. I had my initial consult approx 1 month ago and today was my teleconference. I followed her strict guidelines, checked in 15 minutes early as instructed and waited. Waited naked(with a robe) locked in my room telling everyone to stay out….I waited 1 hour and 18 minutes. On occasion a secretary, a PA would say “making sure we can hear you, making sure we have good reception”. Never explaining that this process will take over an hour. When the PA appeared after 56 minutes of waiting, I explained that i only had questions for dr.spiegel. I had already agreed to the price of surgery, and agreed on a surgical date a month ago. When dr.spiegel appeared approximately 1.5 hours later, she said “I hear you are angry, you are refusing to speak to the PA”. No matter how it was said, no matter the exact words, I was to be blamed. Somehow, this long wait and my frustration was my fault. Dr.spiegel said “I prefer not to have a conversation with angry patients”. Full disclose, I have NEVER had this experience. Truth be told, majority of my doctors have become my friends. Dr.spiegel never reviewed my records, never spoke of my surgery. Dr.spiegel ended the conversation with a resounding thud. Dr.spiegel said “I have to wait for my doctor”. The indifference.I left the teleconference believing somehow all of this was my fault. I took a deep breath and spent hours replaying my interactions with dr.spiegel and her staff, wondering what I did wrong. What did I say? How could I have been so rude to be treated so poorly? The answer is this, I didn’t do or say anything to deserve this treatment. No one does. I have read several reviews and there is a pattern developing….blaming the patient. No one deserves to be treated the way I was treated and the way I suspect several of you have been treated. For that, I am sorry. I am deeply saddened that dr.spiegel doesn’t recognize that a good surgeon does not just require surgical skill, it requires understanding, compassion, and most of all EMPATHY.
