I really respect Dr. Clapp. she was always professional but also personable and very knowledgable and helpful. She always made time to hear my concerns and answer my questions. If she wasn't available there was a great nurse or another doctor to step in. IF was way harder than I ever imagined but I always felt I was in good hands at HFI

Everyone was warm understanding and accommodative of me, I am very thankful. Dr. Was attentive and very patient with us even when it took us long to make decisions Accommodating my crazy work schedule has been of tremendous help-such a blessing, we are thankful Results were communicated in a timely fashion Office correspondence excellent I must applaud the Phlebotomist for being able to stick me once only!!! My transfer was the smoothest I could have dreamt of, Dr. Clapp was very patient, took time carefully insert the tube without causing me trauma, very grateful for that

Thank you for all you did to help my husband and I achieve a successful pregnancy! I rated a 7 because I felt like communication wasn't great at HFI. I did not feel a part of my care. I felt like I had to ask the right questions to get answers. I think something that would be helpful is that if y'all had a pamphlet for every stage IUI, Oocyte Retrieval, IVF - FAQs - what you can and cannot do at each phase because I found myself calling to ask if I can do XYZ and the response was oh for right now, you shouldn't. That was frustrating to me because it made me wonder what else I wasn't supposed to be doing. Also, I had specific opinions about how many eggs to fertilize. I asked the nurse if we would have that discussion, and she said yes. When I was at my last appointment, I asked the doctor. She was upset with me for just not bringing it up, but I was confused because no one asked me what I wanted my care to be. Dr. Clapp called me after the appointment and had a very nice conversation with me, which was nice, but none of that needed to happen. The patient should be consulted about his/her care.
