Please don’t waste your time with this practice, they wasted 6-8 months of my time. They did an at home sleep study, gave me the run around, did nothing helpful. Office staff isn’t all bad, but high turnover rate-not a good sign.I HIGHLY recommend the pulmonary sleep office which is by clear lake hospital. They did what this office couldn’t within 3 short weeks.American sleep medicine prolonged my suffering with sleep apnea for a solid 7 months. I had to do all of the calls with my insurance, the office staff was not helpful, neither was the doctor. This place is a joke. I wish I could leave less than 1 star. Please do not go here, look else where.

At American Sleep Medicine - Alba was very Nice to my Husband when it came to his BiPAP Machine Records for his Physical. She printed out his yearly BiPAP Machine Records for his DOT Physical for FREE!!! I recommend American Sleep Medicine to all CDL Drivers. Talk to Alba.

This is a practice that specializes in seeing patients quickly. Unfortunately, they are not a traditional medical facility. The Dr. is knowledgeable and experienced, but due to the limited hours worked (Monday/Friday only), response time and helpfulness is very constrained.We are moving care because the bedside manner of the doctor is limited and the receptionist is rude and very unhelpful. She has a “nothing I can do” approach to medical care. It is highly unprofessional for the field. It is also worth noting that John is no longer there.

I was at American Sleep Medicine today and the staff was excellent. They took great care of me and answered all of my questions about various cpap machines. They shared the latest equipment available and explain the benefits.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews, but my experience was great. John has great bedside manor- professional and funny. I think patients that go in there should have realistic expectations- its a sleep center aka medical facility, not the Hilton. The room and bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable and you're in and out before you know it. Overall great experience!

1 week after my study I was contacted by a sleep specialist office. They said the doctor read my study and was ready to discuss the findings with me. They wanted to set me up for a telephone visit with the doctor. I told them my doctor was going to go over the results with me. They said he was not a sleep specialist. I was not refered to this doctor. Beware! I am not happy that my information became available to a doctor I have not seen. They called me at home.

Although I'm not one of their regular customers, they were courteous and helped me right away. All I needed was to have a memory card read so I could get a DOT physical. They took care of me in 10 min.

I love coming here to get my report they are really nice and understanding and they explain my results. The staff is really nice and if you test positive for the sleep apnea look up sleep apnea on tic tok. We might look like dark Vader with the machine at night but we be breathing and sleeping good.
