Dr. Agarwal is always very tentative to the needs of his patients. Very professional and explained visit throughly
Great personalized care! Take the time one on one with you to understand your concerns! Great bedside manner would recommend to anybody in my family or friends!!
Dr. Agarwal listened to what I had to say and thoroughly explained what he will perform. I have to take my hat off to him for fitting my needed procedure in to his busy schedule so I can proceed with my treatments. Forever grateful for this true Professional.
A New Lige Dr Agarwal changed my life. After a simple surgical procedure my life changed. Dr Agarwal listened to my problems and suggested a procedure. He was very knowledgable. His staff very sweet. My waiting time was short.
My elderly mother (late 70s) had reoccurring polyps and Dr Agarwal’s recommendation was to cut part of her colon! I went with her to the appt and questioned his approach. I had researched and asked about an alternative procedure that he said was only offered in Japan and not available in the US. I knew he was wrong and told him we wouldn’t be moving forward with surgery without getting a 2nd opinion. I also told him that Memorial Hermann doesn’t have the best reputation and I would be taking my mom to MD Anderson for a 2nd opinion. He is a surgeon so of course he wants to perform surgery without exploring less drastic options. We went to MD Anderson who said cutting her colon was premature and unnecessary. They suggested monitoring her by getting colonoscopies done every 6 months. MDACC also confirmed the procedure he said is only done in Japan is done at MDACC. Fast forward to present, the polyps have been removed, she is clear of polyps and everything has healed up very well so now she goes back in one year for another colonoscopy. While colonoscopies are not pleasant, they are way better than getting your colon cut and potentially having a bag. GET A 2nd OPINION BEFORE LETTING Dr Agarwal perform surgery!!!

Rude If I could rate zero stars I would, my mother came in with colon and rectal issues. He was not passionate at all, hard to talk to and rude to staff.. 10/10 Do not recommend.
Great doctor and surgeon Dr Agarwal performed my colonoscopy and was absolutely fantastic. He made me feel very comfortable as a medical professional. The day of the procedure, he checked in prior to and after and gave me my results. He was amazing and I highly recommend him.
Got operated and left incontinent under Dr. agarwals care. I should have seen the red flags from the start but went with him because he was recommended by a good doctor. He blamed my previous doctors from the beginning and after the surgery when I developed fecal incontinence he promptly handed me a flyer for another surgery and treated it nonchalantly. He messed up and continues to blame previous doctors even though I was fine before he operated. Don't see this guy if you can avoid it.
Dr agarwal saved my life! He did an excellent job of my colon resection and while there was surprised by a leaking abscess but took care of it and me in great fashion. He’s all business, and very busy and much in demand, but he is kind and caring and very skilled. He is my favorite doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
