List of Ascent Emergency Room's Reviews
I am very thankful to Ascent Emergency Room. I visited this place at around 12AM and I was out by 1:30AM. Dr Daniel Merges took good care of me and treated my condition in way to not cause more pain. I couldn’t get hold of the nurses name. She is a brave lady and assisted Dr Dan in the procedure. They both made me comfortable and explained post treatment stuff. I was up and able to walk normally within 48hours. I received a follow up call as well. When I visited, receptionist told me that ascent is particular about the insurances they accept. Unfortunately BCBSTN is not in their list. I hope they could add that to their list in the future. Overall it was a good experience with the treatment, timeliness and post treatment process communication. I was treated for an abscess drainage.
Absolutely horrible. Does not care about people at all.
Exceptional staff with exceptional service. Highly recommend!
If I could give negative 10 stars I would! I was having what I suspected to be cardiac issues and I walk in the door of the 24 hour office and there’s no one at the front desk and the lights were off. I walked around to the other side which Is the ambulance entrance where I saw people doing what I assume was cleaning and he pointed to go back to the other side I came from. I walked back over there and there was still no one there and it was frustrating me. Finally a woman comes from the back and she acted like I was interrupted her. I’d rather take my chances and go to another ER because she was just so nonchalant. Do people not understand the care in healthcare?! I told her I was having chest pains and she was like ok. Gross!!! Don’t come here! Mind you this was 7:45 pm!!
Friendly patient attentive informative
They took great care of me at Ascent! Everyone I interacted with was very nice and they had great bedside manner. They even called multiple times to follow up with me, And made sure I got my prescriptions.
Very helpful and fast service.
Staff is 💯
Everyone was nice. I got in fast and the nurse and doctor was very thorough but didn’t overstep their boundaries.
It is appalling that a receptionist can cause a patient not to be seen due to her incompetence and lack of understanding. Warning, do not go to this place if you have injury or are in pain because disconcerting events occur before you ever have an opportunity to see medical staff. What kind of business that states 24 hour care turns patients away without making sure needs are met? The issue was insurance but she did not understand, nor did she care to. She kept telling me that they are privately owned. Who cares?! I have more than one type of insurance, yet she tried to tell me who is primary and secondary without even looking at my card or gaining an understanding. She acted as if I am unintelligent. But she is the one who cannot comprehend. What is her authority to determine that someone cannot be seen? How poor! I could have even paid cash as an option or used credit but I never, ever want to see this place again. I’m in excruciating pain due to an injury, and have been made to suffer even more. BEWARE! This is not the place to go. I should have heeded the reviews and not stepped foot in this wretched place!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
