List of Avinash Narine's Reviews
I originally saw Dr Narine in 2021 and actually really liked him. He seemed nice, caring, thorough and easy to talk to. When I went to schedule my yearly in 2022 he was booked up so they offered for me to see a nurse practitioner in the office instead. I agreed and she was very nice too but now that I saw her, Dr Narine and his nurses refuse to do anything for me. I needed a refill on a prescription and since he is(or I thought he was) my doctor I called and left a message asking for a refill. A week later I hadn't recieved a return call or recieved my refill so I called back and left an urgent message with them. His nurse, shannon, returned my call and informed me that since my last visit with him personally was over a year ago he could not do anything for me. She says she sent it over to my nurse practitioner but it's kinda funny how they didn't receive it until Shannon actually decided to call me back. I don't understand why they couldn't have simply called me and told me all this the day I left the first message. I could easily end up in the hospital without my medication and it really shows how much they DO NOT CARE about their patients. I did not know that when they asked if I wanted to see the nurse practitioner that I was essentially switching doctors. If you want real care from a team that is actually in the business to help people when it's not just convenient for themselves, I would recommend going somewhere else.
Dr. Narine - he is the most understanding doctor ever. He paid attention to my needs and listen. He did not make me feel uncomfortable. He is truly a great doctor.
Very friendly, personable, professional, and thorough. Willing to spend extra time to discuss and explain plan of care. Staff was very attentive and courteous. 5 stars.
I was glad to find that Dr. Narine was an In-Network provider with my insurance carrier. He and his staff are top tier. The level of quality care and service they provide is amazing.
Dr. Avinash Narine is a wonderful doctor. He is really friendly and very helpful. He is very prompt about any questions. He is my PCP for more then 2 years.
I took my 92 year old mother to see Dr Narine the summer of 2020. He was very good and attentive. We really liked him. Fast forward to 2021 and I have left 2 messages and finally waited 20 minutes to speak with someone about her getting a COVID vaccine. Based on her health and age she is eligible to receive the vaccine but it must be coordinated through a medical professional. That is not happening nor are they interested in that at Village Medical. One would think a doctor would run lists of his patients that are critical and at least call them to give them information. So far nothing has happened. If you are healthy then this is an appropriate practice to have as your PCP. If not, then they will NOT be proactive in helping you. I am very disappointed.
Very knowledgeable, thorough, systematic, listens you out, does not rush through appointments, very clear communication and empathetic. Now my entire family sees him.Wish we had more doctors like him!
Very professional - listened to what I said. Liked him a lot!
Do not go to Dr.’s much. Only if severely injured usually because I don’t get sick enough. I am 54 years old and actually extended my hand and very sincerely expressed my appreciation of how he handled me and my condition. I have never done that to any Dr. Grateful to them, yes. Pleasure to meet them, never. Very knowledgeable and caring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
