List of Baxter Montgomery's Reviews
I've stumbled on a treadmill which were at his clinic office which were too close in the doorway entrance. And I broke a bone in my elbow & sprained my wrist really badly. I've been in so much pain all day and all night every darn day. This wasn't my fault and I should be compensated instead of being ignored or Him trying to go by it the easist way. I'm suffering just because I went to an appointment at his business for the first time. I might have to go by there and picked him & his business. Because this just something you can sweep up under a rug. And expect me to go away quietly.
You will love the way you are treated and wonderful treatment plan that will be customized for you.
Dr. Montgomery’s goal is to cure heart disease, not perpetuate a chronic disease. Under his care, I got better and no longer take pills. My prescription is a healthy lifestyle, which I much prefer over pills and surgery. In my experience, I was kept waiting for unreasonable amounts of time as stated in other reviews but he still gets five stars because I’m heathy again and wish more doctors were like him.
The Montgomery Heart & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art wellness facility complete with all the technology and resources to provide comprehensive medical and wellness care.
Out of 5 office visits I saw the Doctor once. I have (had) or was supposed to have a phone visit this morning at 8:30 it is now 9:15 and I’m still waiting I guess a patient’s time isn’t important I have other things to take care of this morning. They also have on of those health apps they can’t even put the results of your test on the app like other doctor offices do. That is what my phone appointment is for and I’m getting charged for it. The Doctor was helpful more expensive than others even with insurance. You have you pay for a phone visit to get your results the same if it was in person. Like I said free from other doctors on their apps or a phone call to tell your results or problem(s) found. The place is a money grabber.
Dr Montgomery truly cares about treating patients with nutrition and modern medicine.. I love his approach to healing the total body. The staff works together as a team.
Have been a patient of Dr. Montgomery for more than 19 years. I have received excellent care and am blessed to have him. My experience with the kitchen has been very good.
The food is excellent. It is for those that are on a healthy path. If you prefer greasy fried burgers, you may not like it. I eat there often and feel great!
I was under the care of Dr. Baxter Montgomery for only 2-3 months. I only saw him twice during that time. The one time I did see him he came in for about 5 minutes and left, only to advise the NP on what he would like to do. I only saw him because I had requested to see him. I'm paying my hard earned money to see him and I expect to see my doctor. Not to mention every time I would go in I would wait almost 2 hours sometimes to go back to the room, then wait another 30 minutes only to see an NP, which each time I came in I saw a different NP. So, there goes your continuity of care down the drain. I am a complex patient because my health issues exist despite my young age. I also had an issue with the fact that my BP's were severely elevated and they continued to throw their meal plan at me that I could not afford and supplements. I ate a strict vegan/raw food meal for almost 2 months with no changes to my BP at all. They never even changed my medications to help lower my BP. The only good that came from going to this office was that Dr. Montgomery can perform/complete any diagnostic testing that a cardiologist would need to do right there in his office. But be careful that also comes a high cost. I don't know if any of his processes have changed, but I do know that you will not feel as though you/the patient is being put first. I say all of this to say the end result. I went 2-3 months with BP's around 150/90 most days, someday the BP was higher and now I have stage 2 kidney disease. High BP is nothing to play with. I have since left him, found another cardiologist who is managing my drugs first, then allowing me to do vegan/raw foods to drop weight and lower my BP on my own. Not dangerously let me walk around with a high BP. They have gotten my creatinine and protein in urine down and my BP's now are around 110/77. I have lost 8 pounds so far in the past month with slow changes to my diet. So, excited to finally be back on track.
The front office staff were great, professional and kind. However, waiting 2+ hours to be seen only to have a brief session, he walks out but doesn't return. This happened twice. I've not received ANY of my lab tests from 2-3 months ago. Not even the stress test, echo, doopler nor the unnecessary and expensive out of network micronutrient test. The patient portal hasn't been updated. My PCP has requested everything, still no results. The back office needs a shake up. I am very disappointed. I use to think highly of the practice, I wonder what changed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
