Berkeley Eye Center - Harrisburg's Online Review Report Card

This was my first full eye exam, I am 69 years old and very apprehensive. I found Dr Aeremales, and staff at Berkeley eye center very attentive. I was seen on time and sett up for a follow up for prescription readers, i had a.very pleasant experience.

I just had my eyes checked at Berkley Eye Center on Harrisburg went to the back building for glasses. The two young ladies there were very friendly knowledgeable, professional. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. They helped me out on that. I am referring my family members and my friends to use Berkley Eye Center. They’re honest.

I was searching for a Eye Dr. near me the other day and I called this location per all my family is or were patients there . The Time was approx 1142 am Tuesday morning, the Rudest and most uncordial lady receptionist answered the phone .She was So rude I just hung up and and currently looking to take my Business elsewhere. I will tell all my Social media and friends and Family about my experience. My mother is a patient there , she called minutes after my phone call and was also treated in a non professional manner as well. Very Rude customer service from the front desk agent/s.I will soon seek a diffrent Eye place for all my family members. We were so disgusted with the tone and attention we encountered.

Today was my first visit at the Berkeley Eye Center - Harrisburg location and I was speechless at the care, compassion and a thorough examination from Dr. Cuevas and all her staff. And afterwards I met with Aisha and Reyna in the optical dept who were both wonderful ladies who assisted with my contacts. Thank you Berkeley for an incredible day. I will be a lifelong patient from now on!!

Drs and staff are wonderful here but lobby is too small and very crowded when full with no room for wheelchairs or walkers

My parents had a very bad experience with Dr. Cuevas. My dad was trying to explain to her that one of the drops she prescribed were not covered by his insurance and they are very expensive, he can’t afford to buy them he’s disabled and he doesn’t work. “She replied, with that’s not my problem.”Then my dad told her if you can’t help me I’m going to have to look for another doctor “She replied, go look for one” I can’t believe Berkeley Eye Center has this unprofessional doctor working for them. She shouldn’t be mistreating the patients thanks to the patients she has a job.

The ladies at Berkeley Eye Center-Harrisburg are absolutely wonderful! My six-year-old and I scheduled appointments for our exam after the pediatrician recommended having his vision checked. I haven’t been in years, and wasn’t expecting anything out of the realm of a ‘normal’ health care provider experience, but we received care that went above and beyond. Dr. Cuevas and the ladies that work in the building to the left, where our initial exam took place, were nothing short of kind, thorough, informative, and made sure my son was comfortable throughout; thankfully allowing us to leave their office without him being traumatized (even after eye drops; which is absolutely not the norm at home lol). After receiving our prescriptions, we stepped out and entered the building to the right, where we went to pick out our glasses. When I tell you the opticians there, Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Aisha, are complete angels, I still feel as though that doesn’t do them any justice. They are sincerely the most patient, helpful, thoughtful, and considerate people I’ve come across; especially when considering how overworked those in the healthcare industry tend to be. There’s a little section with toys that kept my two and six year old busy briefly, but my children were honestly ridiculously energetic during this time, and I could hardly wrangle them in. I was so embarrassed and apologized profusely, as I was not wanting to frustrate these wonderfully kind ladies who had already been working with us for a considerable amount of time. They showed nothing but grace, compassion, kindness, and even went out of their way to help me with them; as a mom this means SO much! I’ve become accustomed to the judgmental glares society offers when the boys are having an off day in public, but they genuinely went out of their way to not only assure me it was okay, but to help keep the boys preoccupied while I made my selection. I cannot thank them enough, and this review barely skims the surface of the level of care we received from them both. My family will now solely attend this location for our optical needs (my spouse and older sons went to Target optical previously), and I absolutely recommend them to any and everyone. 10/10!

Great place great staff dr.cuevas is one awesome eye doctor! And thank you dr.capplain for repairing my fathers vision with a experimental implant tri-focal lens years ago! BEST EYE CLINIC TO GO!!!
