I was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma and chose Dr. Chevray as my reconstruction surgeon. From the very first meeting with him, Patrick, and Carol, I knew I had made the right decision. They guided me through every step of the reconstruction process—answering all my questions and making sure I clearly understood what to expect. Now that I’m on the other side of this journey, I am incredibly grateful for my decision. Dr. Chevray’s knowledge, surgical skills, eye for detail, and professionalism made all the difference. I could not be happier with my results. There truly aren’t adequate words to express the depth of my appreciation for Dr. Chevray, Patrick, and Carol. They are an exceptional team, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing this difficult path.

I am very appreciative of the treatment I received from Dr. Chevray and his staff, The reconstruction from my double mastectomy was excellent. Dr. Chevray is an excellent surgeon. The scarring from the surgeries is faint at best. Dr, Chevray was clear in his communication. Carol, who I believe is his right hand person was a comfort. Carol removed all my drains and it was a painless experience. Carol's directions and the responsiveness to my emails was fantastic. Daniel, another member of the staff is also commendable. The care I received from the entire Houston Methodist team was excellent.

In the Fall of 2024, my breast cancer surgeon, Dr. F. Angarita, referred me to Dr. Pierre Chevray for my breast reconstruction. My diagnosis was only a few weeks old and my head was spinning with tests, medical information and data. I absolutely had no idea the types of breast reconstruction choices I had for my upcoming bilateral mastectomy. Then, I met Dr. Chevray and his team. Wow! Dr. Chevray, his nurse, Carol Ross and PA, Patrick Young made me feel like family on the first visit. The choices for my body, cancer, and mindset were explained in a clear, calm, informational manner from Dr. Chevray. Every visit with Dr. Chevray and his team, was professional, timely, and reassuring. It was obvious in every appointment that I was in the care of a knowledgeable, talented and experienced care team. My questions were always answered in a way that I could understand. The staff were great communicators of information that needed to be shared with my medical team. I could call with questions or needs and get a quick response. I really can’t say enough about the courtesy and care I received in his clinic, however, I was most concerned with the procedure, the outcomes, and recovery from upcoming my surgery. Boom! I am a very happy, satisfied and well patient from a surgery that I never expected to endure. His team took super duper care of me in the hospital, I had no issues, no infections, very- very low pain, and beautiful results. Nurse Carol called to check on me, Patrick and Dr. Chevray took time with me at my follow-up visits and I would leave the appointments without being anxious about any future medical issues that concerned me prior to the surgery. I had the best experience during a difficult time. Dr. Chevray gave me a choice and voice with my surgery. I chose the Diep Flap procedure for my reconstruction after a double mastectomy. The scars are barely visible, I had no infection, and only two surgeries. Both times, Dr. Chevray took the time to explain the whole process and what to expect in great detail.
