I visited the Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine location in Cypress Texas a few times in 2022. I had consultations with Dr. Darin Tessier and received excellent service during each appointment. Based on our discussions, I elected to take additional out of home physical therapy sessions. It made a positive impact on my mobility and pain levels. I would definitely recommend him to other patients that have similar needs.

I went to Dr. Tessier for the first time, and he spent less than 10 minutes with me. He was very sleepy, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He did not look at my shoulder and did not measure any of the metrics that show how much I can move it and how much of it I cannot move. They did x-rays and he told me that he thought it was some kind of bone Issue. He recommended I get MRIs and I have done that. I hear from staff that he's an excellent surgeon but I do not think I want a sleepy surgeon. He did not touch my arm or look at my shoulder. My shoulder is dislocating, and it's extremely painful. He did order a sling for my arm. I hope no one retaliates, because of my honest post. I have used Advanced Orthopedics for years and have been very happy with the work they have done for me. I go to physical therapy 2 to 3 times a week. My shoulder just won't get better.

Rudest doctor I have ever met! I’m a heart patient since 1974. I have gone to more doctors than the average person has in my lifetime and I’ve never ever had such a bad experience in my life!! Sitting in my car in front of his office right now typing this review and about to have my pacemaker go off because I’m so freaking stressed out about this guy!!

Not impressed with the interaction. I was not asked about my symptoms rather rushed into the solution based on the little information that I had to fill in the webform for taking the appointment. Felt unsatisfied as I didn’t even get to discuss my symptoms in detail.

I was super impressed with Dr. Tessier. He helped me and my daughter better understand Osgood schlatter disease and what we could do to minimize the pain. After 1 year of seeing doctors, we finally had Answers.

Dr.Tessier and his personnel are amazing! I couldn't stand my shoulder pain and arm, and the next day I am at least an 80% better. He made me laugh a lot too!

My son is an athlete and there’s no one we would trust more that Dr. Tessier. His attention to detail, experience and understanding of sports/athletes is a huge blessing. Sees the big picture and explains the process to recovery and return to activity 100%.
