Being diagnosed with breast cancer was terrifying for me, so was tremendously anxious when I met with Dr. Miltenburg to go over my treatment options. Within seconds, I knew that she wasn't going to be a stereotypical cold surgeon. She was truly kind and attentive, and she didn't make me feel rushed when I asked my countless questions. Dr. Miltenburg presented me with various options, and she made it clear that she would support whatever treatment choice I felt was best for me. Ultimately, I opted for a double mastectomy and reconstruction. She did a beautiful job on the surgery, and her staff kept my family updated throughout the process. Since the procedure, Dr. Miltenburg has kept up with my progress and continues to approach my medical care with support and positivity. This is an incredibly tough journey, but Dr. Miltenburg is an amazing surgeon who can guide you through it.

Dr. Miltenburg was God-sent. Her personality is off the charts. I believe that she is the best breast oncology doctor. Having 12cm malignant tumor removed and saved almost all my breast tissue for an easy reconstruction- is miraculous, to say the least. Dr. Miltenburg makes you going through cancer journey almost pleasant experience- considering that is very scary one. I love Dr. Miltenburg!

I’m very much thankful to Dr Miltenburg for undergoing a smooth surgery for my mother. She took great care & my mother felt very comfortable with her & my heart was at ease. How the hell do you get a hold of this office to make an appointment for my wife. I got passed from number to number - EIGHT to be exact. I even went to the wed site, which has the one number I called, and they gave me another number.

Dr. Miltenburg was able to clearly explain her approach so that I could understand, and feel confident about her recommended procedure. Her vast experience goes a long way as well. Given my age and other health conditions, I was very reluctant and nervous about doing a double mastectomy. Now that I am on the road to recovery, that was the best decision ever. Two weeks after the surgery, I’m feeling good and ready to go on with my life. Dr. Miltenburg, thank you again!

Words can’t express how grateful and thankful I am of this Doctor. She literally saved my moms life. She was the only surgeon my mom felt comfortable with. After seeing several doctors for her no one took the care and consideration the way Dr. Miltenberg did. This is also extremely important because through our family experience and as you know the medical industry is not that empathetic to women of color. Dr. Miltenberg saw my mom as a HUMAN BEING. She removed my Moms cancer and saved her life. My mom will Love long enough God willing to now see her daughter get married and have children.

Dr Miltenburg is wonderful. She did my lumpectomy in 2019, and yesterday did one on my 18 year old daughter. She shows true compassion and spends plenty of time explaining things. However, I give the company she uses to run her office, Advanced Diagnostics, mixed reviews. I’ve had a couple of instances in dealing w my daughters recent issues where it was hard to reach them. Often when you call you can only leave a message and wait for a call back. It’s not always prompt. Over the holidays, I called and never got anyone beyond a general answering service. I was given her assistant’s email, sent one on Dec 30, and never got a reply. When we saw Dr M on Jan 25, she apologized for that and said that others had issues during the holidays. Our dealings since with her office have gone better. We then scheduled my daughter for surgery at River Oaks Hospital, And had no problems. Calls were returned, everyone was polite. It is a small, nice facility. I am still glad we found Dr. Miltenburg. I knew my child was in capable hands yesterday.

Dr. Miltenburg performed my double lumpectomy in June 2022. I was referred to her by another doctor and I’m so glad I was! She is an amazing doctor! Her bedside manner is I believe the best I’ve ever encountered! She answered every question my husband and I had on the initial visit. When I went back for my follow ups she remembered our conversations and our concerns. This comforted me because I knew she truly cared about me and I wasn’t just “another patient”. If I have a friend or a family member with breast concerns I will be sure to recommend her! I love you Dr. Miltenburg! PS: She gives great hugs!
