List of Dr. Saffana Hassan's Reviews
I have been a patient here for 1.5 years and satisfied with the care provided. Dr Hassan is a patient listener and the rest of the staff are a pleasure to interact with and very professional. Initially during the diagnostic phase I was heavily overcharged for the expensive allergy tests, however after my insurance settled all the amounts, the office noted the amounts overcharged over each of my visits and reimbursed me with a single payment.
Do not visit this office. I was over charged by $205. It took them over a month to send the claim to my insurance once that was done I called to let them know I received my EOB and I was over charged. Of course the biller was out, every time you call for something the person you need is out. I had allergy testing scheduled but after my first appointment something told me to cancel. I am glad I did they probably would have tried charging over $1000 for testing that is covered by my insurance. If you are referred to this allergist tell your doctor to find you another place to go. I will never go here again!!
I was scheduled for allergy testing the week after i paid $280 for a five minute conversation with the doctor. I was at the office for almost two hours that day. The sullen front desk girl took me to a room, took my vitals, and then I was left in the room for thirty minutes. Someone finally comes in, doesn’t even make eye contact me, and announces my total for the testing was EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY dollars. I ask what I’m paying for, and they just say insurance doesn’t cover it and won’t tell me anything specific. I leave and call my insurance company, and it turns out they were going to charge me for a test that had absolutely nothing to do with my symptoms. Apparently trying to sneak it in. I was informed that the testing I actually need is absolutely covered by my insurance, as it is a medical necessity. This is a money grabbing, greedy office. I normally don’t pay much attention to bad reviews but in the case of this office, they are absolutely accurate. No one in the building has any sort of personality and clearly no one has gotten any sort of customer service training. As a registered nurse myself, I was appalled by the attitudes of the staff. 10/10 DON’T recommend.
Have been a patient of Dr. Hassan for several years. Have seen improvement in my allergies and my number of sinus infections are down from about 20 per year to 4 or 5 per year. Her staff is friendly and accommodating, even when I need to reschedule an appointment within two hours of the appointment. Highly recommend them.
Dr. Hassan has been very helpful and seems like she really cares about her patients!
Dr. Hassan is the most greedy doctorin the entire memorial hermann network...actually in the whole state. I booked an appointment after I had been seeing her for years and she refused to see me because there was a balance of $40 that my insurance needed to pay. I was shocked being that she had obtained thousands of dollarss from insurance for those allergy shots and the tests that go along with the treatment. GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR. She just wants the insurance money!!!
They are greedy. Making up unnecessary visits. They are holding my money. Over charged me and then they got paid by the insurance company. They got paid from insurance yet would not reimburse the over charged amount. Giving me different stories every time I call them. Extremely disrespectful staff. Will never visit them again. They are liars as well. First they said that they have not billed the insurance yet. I told them that I have received information from the insurance that they have paid Then they said that it is not in their account yet. Then they said they will hold my money for three months. I don’t know why? Physicians are that greedy? Never knew that.
I loved that the office was in a cool, historic bungalow in the Heights. street parking is easy to find out front. The staff is always very caring and Dr. Hassan is a great listener. She was willing to investigate some things with me that a former allergist had dismissed. And now I am finally on my way to healing!
Visited for my allergies. They are only making up visits. My first visit they did not do the testing and asked me to come back so they charge of another visit. Then they over charged me and said that my insurance would not cover. I called insurance company and they have paid them but the doctor”s office insisted that they have not received the payment. After several attempts they said that will hold my money for 3 months. My insurance company did not understand that neither do I.
Office staff seemed incompetent when scheduling appt over phone. On appt day, office staff proved my guess was right. They first claimed they didn't have me scheduled, then that they did not get my referral, then when I called my referring doctor I found out they did, in fact send it on the first request. When I finally got called back they wanted me to pay my copay + fees for breathing tests which they said my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked to see the doctor before having any testing done and after 90 mins and never saw the doctor. Won't be giving them another try. Also, FYI, their address is listed incorrectly online. Their office is in an old house on Heights Blvd with minimal parking available.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
