E.C. "Chip" Winkel's Online Review Report Card

The office policies suck and the people you speak with have an attitude tone in the voice and if you give any attitude tone your voice when you try emphasize something they get their feels hurt. But maybe you try listen to the person the phone instead interrupting while we are talking to you.. You have to fill out their new patient forms every time you make appointment because the computer systems deletes you after 3. They it is the law. ( I find that to be B.S.) I have other doctors I see ever 5 years and I not a new patient when I go see them.

Mala atención.

If I could give 0 stars I would! ABSOLUTELY horribly service. My mom Got there a bit early and every patient went in before her ( even after they got there after us) Doctor took about 30 minutes with each patient, when it was my moms turn to go in she was in there max 10 minutes.He seemed to care so much about her personal life, he asked her “ do you speak English” and she replied no, then he says “ how many years have you lived here” and continues to ask personal questions about her job, husband and daughters. Which had nothing to do with todays visit. When she then asked about her visit he said said “ oh it’s fine” and she asked if it would affect her in the future and he seemed so unsure about his answer as if he didn’t care. I would like to make a report if anyone knows a number I can talk to please let me know. 08-07-2023 Dr was Erwin Winkel

Arrogant, close minded. Said I couldn’t possibly have candidiasis (yeast in blood and body organs) and that my GP should be SHOT for thinking so. Said I would be fightyfir me life if so. My GP saved my life by prescribing daily anti-fungal meds 10 years ago. I haven't a single urinary tract infection since versus 3-4 per year. And I am fighting for my life.

I've been a patient of Dr. Winkel's for several years. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and honest. He has performed two procedures on me related to kidney stones. The most recent one came as a bit of an emergency (blockage in my lone kidney) and he had me in the OR in no time at all. His bedside manner is top notch and he's always good for a laugh to ease your nerves. The hospital nurses told me he's the best - no doubt about it!

I have known Dr. Winkle, 'Chip', for almost 30 years now. My first experience with kidney stones was with his father, an excellent urologist. As I am predisposed to stones, I have seen Chip several times for exams and procedures, and I have referred several of my friends, as well as my own father, to him. His experience and knowledge make him the most experienced and qualified, and his candor and humor make him most comfortable to be around. He is the best of the best...in my opinion.

Terrible skills as he attempted to repair punctured bladder, this issue left me bedridden for months. No responsibility taken for mistake whatsoever. Finally we had to go to Dr Lotze to get the issue fixed. I do no recommend Dr. Winkel for any surgical procedure. He has very rude receptionist as well.

Excellent doctor, I give my husband a lot of confidence, he is very friendly and answers all your questions. Excellent price and service.

Worst experience with this doctor and his office. Trying to get a return call is next to impossible. After the 2nd surgery because the first one was a fail I ended up hospitalized and he would not return the hospitals phone calls. Luckily those doctors took care of me. But don't worry they will be calling you for his professional fee.
