I would like to thank Linh & first light home caregivers of West Houston, For her diligence in organizing the best caregivers for my sweet Aunt Doris could ever have. Her team strives to encourage and motivate her as they get to know her personality to suit her needs as well as my expectation as her niece. We all work together, and this pleases me. My aunt really trusts Linh , She is a strong lady that cares greatly and shows that she loves her job and her clients. But I see that they are more than just a client. They are special to her. She has gone over and above and given high priority to make my Aunt comfortable with this process and transition. Her team has patience, which is a blessing to us as a family. Linh has taught me so many new things that I haven’t really thought about before in caring for my elderly aunt. I appreciate it that she makes it easy, even though it’s a challenging time. She makes it easy to reach out to her with my questions and I appreciate the way she gets back with me quickly. What a blessing it has been getting to know this care team. We are thankful and grateful.

I was discharged from rehab after suffering a stroke and used FirstLight Home Care – Houston Metro for five weeks during my recovery. Linh, the case manager, and the caregivers, Luz and Tabitha, cared for me with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. Linh has been an absolute blessing to my family. She’s a genuine soul with a truly kind heart and consistently goes above and beyond for us. She’s incredibly professional, dependable, and without a doubt the best caregiver we’ve ever had. You can truly feel how much she cares about the people she works with. Even when we reached out at 3 AM, she responded immediately and showed up without hesitation. I’ll never forget how, while my mom was in surgery, she took such great care of my disabled and bedridden dad. She even helped clean around the house and cooked me food. Her calm presence, kindness, and unwavering support brought us immense comfort during a very stressful time. We are deeply grateful for everything Linh has done. Disappointed because my sister as a caregiver went through a lot to get this company just to find out the distance is too long and now we have to start over for our Mother so hopefully this company can do their distance check before accepting clients 🥺

When my father-in-law fell last winter and it was clear he would need help at home, I googled "best home care company in Houston" and the top of the list was FirstLight. I couldn't have known what an impact this company and one person - Linh - in particular would have on our lives. From our first meeting, I felt completely comfortable with Linh. She and the caregivers have been so proactive, so helpful and so compassionate in the care of my father-in-law. When he had surgery the biggest factor in his recovery was Linh. The care she took was nothing short of extraordinary. She anticipated problems, suggested the right equipment and came up with clever solutions. I wish I could clone her and send her to help my mother in Alabama as we have not found anyone as skilled and caring as she is. My father-in-law thinks she hung the moon and trusts her completely. As a physician, I am aware that this industry is rife with companies that overpromise and underdeliver. FirstLight is a huge exception to this. They are upfront with their pricing, have worked with us to get LTC claims done, and have been 100% reliable. Linh has gone so far above and beyond that I can't express what she means to our family - she is a true gift to us and my father-in-law.

I had a fall and was in the hospital. I was desperate to find a good home care company for my husband who is disabled with PSP and who could start on short notice. I found First Light of West Houston and I am so happy and grateful for their service. We hired them for 8hrs a day 7 days a week. They were so compassionate, helpful and my husband was very happy with the care givers. He needs a fair amount of care and they were right on it. It turned out I had to be in the hospital for 2 weeks and rehab another 2 weeks. The Supervisor of my area Linh Nguyen, was so helpful, and always communicated with me on any questions the caregivers had or issues. (She is truly a Gem)In addition to checking in with me, she would also stop by and be sure all was ok at my house. I cannot say enough about this company! I highly recommend them!
