Took me a month to book but service was Impeccable! Everyone was great, the dr was professional and I was in and out in 20min. Props to Arron, Bryan and destiny for being wonderful people!
Initial visit went well. Staff are all nice. Dr Hassler is very straight to the point and I am likewise as well. I scheduled an appointment to discuss one issue but since we are both very direct, we had extra time to discuss a few other issues that bothered me as well. Parking is very convenient.
I was originally recommended this doctor, which made me feel confident about scheduling an appointment. However, I’ve since heard multiple concerning things that completely changed my view. I’ve been told that the staff was rude, inconsiderate, and made patients feel so uncomfortable that they didn’t feel like they could return. That alone is a terrible look for any office. On top of that, I also heard that Aaron was extremely unprofessional, which honestly feels unbelievable and disappointing. It’s not the experience anyone should have to deal with when seeking care.
Deeply disappointed in Hassler Dermatology. After waiting a month for my son's first appointment, they refused to see him because I, his parent, wasn't physically present -- despite him being there with his caregiver and me available on FaceTime to give consent and sign anything needed. There is no mention of this requirement anywhere on their website or in the appointment confirmation. This rigid, outdated policy ignores the realities of modern families. Two full-time working parents, no after-hours or weekend availability -- how are we supposed to make this work? I'm doing everything I can to balance career and parenting. Instead of supporting that, they added to the burden. Families deserve better care and better understanding.
Hassler Dermatology should be ashamed. After waiting an entire month for this appointment for my son, he was flat-out refused care because I — his parent — wasn’t physically in the room to sign a form. Never mind that he was accompanied by his trusted caregiver. Never mind that I was available by FaceTime, ready to give consent and sign anything electronically. The child — the patient — was there, sitting in front of them, ready to be seen. And they turned him away. What makes this even more maddening? Nowhere — not in the confirmation email, not on their website, not during the scheduling process — was it ever stated that a parent must be physically present for a first visit. And let’s be honest: even if it had been mentioned, that’s not the real issue here. The real issue is a system so inflexible and outdated that it prioritizes paperwork over patient care. This wasn’t about keeping kids safe or ensuring parental involvement. This was about a rigid, bureaucratic policy that assumes parents — let’s be real, mothers — can just magically appear at a 3:30pm weekday appointment because obviously we don’t work real jobs… Hassler Dermatology closes at 6pm. They’re not open on weekends. They see pediatric patients but offer no early (before school/work) hours and no real accommodation for the reality that most families have two working parents. How exactly are we supposed to make this work? I didn’t skip this appointment because I’m careless or uninvolved. I had an unexpected work trip come up — otherwise, yes, I absolutely would’ve tried to drop everything, contort my calendar, and get there. Like I always do. Because I’m doing everything I can to be both a full-time worker and a full-time parent. And honestly? I’m drowning. I’m doing my absolute best for my kid. And yet, instead of stepping up and helping us navigate this impossible balancing act, Hassler Dermatology made it harder. This practice isn’t serving families. It’s actively failing them. Healthcare professionals should be part of the village that helps raise our kids. They should focus on caring for the actual patient, not turning them away because their mother is 1,000 miles away on a work trip but willing to sign anything she needs to over FaceTime. Hassler Dermatology, do better. Families deserve better.
Dr. Hassler and her staff always exceeds my expectations. She herself is extremely thourgh and knowledgeable. She is personable and actually listens to me. The staff is always welcoming and zero waiting time. Her office is very comfortable and well maintained. The costs I incurred after insurance is nominal and appears to be in line to others. The office I visited is in the Heights which is a plus and if not definitely would make the drive across town to see Dr.Hassler. If you’re looking for a great Dermatologist… look no more !!
save your time and money because if you end up getting a prescribed prescription they will give you the round about until the deadline and will have you reschedule and pay AGAIN.
Crazy hold times, no one answers. No one follows up for scheduling appt.
Service was great—5/5. However, after paying my co-pay on the day of the visit, I later received an invoice for an additional payment request, as they said my insurance carrier did not pay for the full amount of the new patient consultation even though they are in network.
I had an incredibly unprofessional experience with this office first scheduling was a nightmare. I had to wait three weeks for an appointment then the day before my visit I got a call in the middle of my work demanding my insurance information where I explained to them I was at work but could provide it the day of my appointment an hour before my actual appointment time. They refused, saying that they cannot verify insurance the same day and to email it them saying they'll look at it on Monday the same day as my appointment.... Make it make sense?? I've never had an issue like this at ANY doctor's office. To top off the person who called me was giggling chatting with her coworker before even saying hello it's completely unprofessional and disorganized to me it looks like. The only reason I went back after having a bad experience the first time is to see if Dr. Hasslers office had changed since I hear great reviews about them in the Heights but obviously not she did nothing to help with my skin the first time and now the second time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
