Dr. Jannie is amazing at what she does! I’m grateful to have found her. She helped me so much with a raised scar I had. She gradually reduced it after just a few sessions. I went to others previously but she did what all the acupuncturists couldn’t do!! She has a warm personality which made each session even better than the last.

I never tried acupuncture as my tolerance for pain is very low; however, my boss highly recommended them, so I gave it a try. Not only after only 2 sessions treating my anxiety, I feel 1000 times better; I also took my mother for her back pain and she is amazed with the immediate results. Dr. Jo-Mai Chiang is very compassionate, genuinely cares about her patients and she is very funny and pleasant. By the way, the needles caused me no pain whatsoever!!! I strongly recommend this clinic and Dr. Chiang, I rarely write reviews, unless I am extremely pleased with my experience.

I suffer from neck pain and lower back pain. My doctor requested MRI done on both areas as well as X-Rays. The images were clean so he suggested I do physical therapy twice a week for a minimum of two months. After the 16 sessions, I noticed no benefit and no improvement. Finally a buddy of mine suggested I give this place a visit and give them the chance to help me. I must admit I started seeing major improvement from the first and second treatment. I still have some pain but at least it was reduced by 80% and as I continue to get treated there I continue to see improvement in both areas my neck and lower back. I highly recommend Houston Acupuncture and urge you to try them before you head out to medical doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. The only draw back is while those doctors are covered under my medical insurance plan, Acupuncture treatment isn’t. Therefore, for a retired person like me it gets very costly and somewhat troublesome financially to continue to receive this treatment regularly and at some point I will have to stop and just use it when the pain level starts to increase again. The doctor that performs the treatment is truly phenomenal and has been really helping me a lot. I give them Five stars for their phenomenal customer service, cleanliness of the place, and the treatments they provide that addresses the issue and provides relief to the patient.

I brought my mom to see Dr. Jannie for wrist pain. After she saw her and treated her my mother felt so much better. Dr. Jannie is not only very knowledgeable in her practice, you can really tell that she cares for her patients. We will be coming to see her again for sure.

After the first visit I felt the results of less pain. Over several sessions the swelling went down and so did the pain. I’m so happy that I came here because the Dr. Janni told me what was wrong with me on the first visit and the orthopedic doctor still hasn’t told me that I had tendinitis! Best care ever!!!😊😊😊

Dr. Chiang is a true healer. I began treatment in mid July for severe allergies, and a cough that had gone on for almost a month. After just one acupuncture session, I could feel a noticeable reduction in my symptoms. I had been to many doctors and allergist prior to coming to Houston Acupuncture and Herb. Traditional medicine has it's place but do not underestimate the power of alternative medicine. Dr. Chiang is knowledgeable, personable and a true gem; I'm so glad that I found her.
