Dr. H. Boppidi is the first specialist, who explained in a simple way and easy to understand what my condition is and gave me the knowledge and confidence, which I needed to be ready for the next step of treating process. Thankful.

Dr. Patel always takes time to answer my questions, going over lab results and asking questions to learn how I am doing. He always shows genuine care and concern.

Dr. B was good. I find that most doctors are quick to speak and rush to surgery, and slow to listen to the needs of the patient. After I explained what I understand she calmed down and listened. I feel that most doctors think that patients are uneducated and will not research their diagnosis and will do exactly what doctors recommend. I would like to know all information and don't want to be rushed to mutilate my body and spirit. There should be alternate recommendations and make surgery last.

r. Patel is very patient, kind and caring. He actually listens and responds to all inquiries. He goes over my record each time I come to him to see what has changed and what has accorded since my last visit. He never seems rushed. I trust him completely to do what's beneficial to my health. I consider myself beyond blessed to have Dr. Sunil Patel as my oncologist. After a horrible experience with MD Anderson during the earlier stages of my diagnosis, I called Kelsey and it was night and day from the way I was treated. From the receptionist, to my first appt, until now (2yrs later) Dr. Patel makes me feel seen and takes my MENTAL HEALTH very seriously. He supports the fact that I struggle with debilitating anxiety and goes out of his way to make sure I am supported through that on every single appointment, scan, etc. He listens to my fears and concerns and in turn shows compassion and support for what I want to do and that is paramount to me. He understands that his patient's treatment plans are collaborative and supports you in the decisions you choose to make. He takes the time to simplify and explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I am also blown away by The Kelsey team. Robyn and her infusion team are hands down the best in Houston. They are top notch! I genuinely feel I am receiving the same love and care as they would give to their own loved ones. They are so patient, kind, and supportive when I am going through tough bouts of anxiety. I feel safe and supported when I am there, in their care. You are a human being to them and not just a number. Everyone knows my name makes a point to stop by my suite to say hello and check on me when I am in for treatment. I highly recommend this team. If I could give 10 stars I would, because they truly deserve it. Navigating a stage IV cancer diagnosis is daunting. This team has been an integral part of my mental growth. Trusting anyone with your life is hard, but they've made it easy for me because I know I am in good and capable hands.

Dr Patel's time is your time. He is straight forward and will answer all your questions. He is compassionate, personable and really interested in you.
