Hui Kang's Online Review Report Card

This doctor has poor bedside manner and does not know how to effectively communicate nor listen to his patients. When he is behind, he rushes and will quickly walk out of the room before you can finish your questions. He also only wants to do what he thinks is best instead of what your surgeon has instructed you to do and will in a rude smiley manner will be matter of fact about what you state you were instructed to do and dissect it regardless of you stating exactly what your doctor stated on your post op instructions. Not only that but when he does not want to effectively and timely deal with your questions and you stating this, he will say he is “releasing you as a patient so that you aren’t uncomfortable”. But really this is just their way of saying I don’t want to deal with it and provide good customer service care and answer questions. Asking for this is just normal appropriate asks and customer care. THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR TO USE FOR APPROPRIATE CARE.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kang. I came here in pain and with plenty of herniated discs. He sat down and listened to all my complaints and was so patient and knowledgeable. On top of all that everyone was super helpful and made me feel at ease at the Dr's office. Thank you

Excellent Doctor

Staff was very friendly and always smiling. Got me in fairly quickly for my appointments. Dr. Kang made sure to take my pain and needs into consideration to help me. Overall would recommend!

The worst experience ever!!! Made an appointment for 3:30 p.m., arrived 30 minutes early as requested, provided the 21 pages of new patient paperwork, paid copay upfront. Waited OVER AN HOUR in his waiting room. The new patient paperwork seems like it was not even looked over. I brought a CD of recent radiology and patient history for over 10 years. All that was ignored as well. He did not really want any input from me about my condition. Told me if I wanted to receive treatment, I would need to totally discontinue ALL my current pain medications, and only then would he consider taking me as a patient. He did not really examine me, just seemed to already know how I was to be treated, as if by some magic cookbook. He was very rude in his conversations with me, not seeming to care how I felt. Almost as though if you don't fall into his specific type of planned treatment, he doesn't want you as a patient. I CAN NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I just can’t believe that all my neck and my back pains were totally gone and being able to back to play soccer ! Meeting Dr Hui Kang was the best thing never happened to me . That man is away more than a doctor and a psychologist. He is such a wonderful person . To me Dr Kang is just a magician !! Thank you Doc and thank you to all the team with their excellent customer service !! I’m willing to refer anyone to Houston Pain Specialists . God bless y’all !!
