Ivo W. Tremont's Online Review Report Card

Saw Dr Tremont for the first time this week. It was a great experience. He was never rushed, spent lots of time explaining my situation and even went to the whiteboard to draw out a plan and to ensure that I understood my choices. Great energy, great personality. Felt that he genuinely cared. An appointment that I really didn’t want to keep turned out to be an enjoyable visit.

My mother is a cancer/ stroke/ seizure patient has been suffering with headaches for almost two months so we were able to get an appointment two months a head of time. While we were headed to the appointment and his receptionist called stating we missed our 12:30 p.m. which was not true. According to our printout from the hospital our appointment was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The receptionist spoke with someone in the office and they stated they called on Monday, January 3rd and left a voicemail at 3:30 pm which was not true. I didn’t have a missed phone call or voicemail from the office on Monday. My mother is bed-written so we have to have wheelchair wheelchair accessible transportation which requires us to make arrangements at least two days ahead of time for a company to transport us back and forth to the doctor. I also received a MyChart messages while in route (12:56 pm) to the visit stating that we had seen him that day which was another lie. The lack of communication was an inconvenience to everyone especially me since I am her primary caregiver who has to take off work to ensure we make appointments. I am highly upset with the way the office staff handled the situation. Now my mother has to wait or find another neurologist. The headaches are starting to become unbearable which was explained to the office.

Dr. Tremont is very knowledgable and takes his time explaining everything in a way we can understand it. He has been very personable and professional. He allows my elderly mother and our family to ask questions and discuss our concerns. We never feel rushed through our appointments and he genuinely shows interest in her health and healing.

Dr. Tremont has been the o out doctor throughout my medical ordeal that has treated me with respect and dignity. He takes his time to explain test results and any goals or outcomes we hope to achieve. He does this while showing you your test results and explaining everything to you in a very easy to follow terms. He listens to your questions and concerns and responds. Really responds and not just brush off those questions and concerns. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he does not rush you out or treat you as if your cattle making your way through the office. After all your going through don't we deserve a doctor that remembers we're a person and we're scared? Dr. Tremont really understands that and I highly recommend him. His nurse is wonderful as well. They are both very personable. They return their phone calls in a timely manner as well.

Dr. Tremont and his Nurse Alicia treated my husband with the utmost care. We've never experienced such professionalism and kindness from any provider. We are truly blessed to have found him.

Dr. Tremont does have an great personality. His biggest problem is his staff and his unwillingness to do something about it. They DONT return phone calls. If you speak to nurse answers are inconsistent with dr. recommendations. The Dr and staff don’t have urgency to follow up with patients. You basically have to keep up with your own chemo. treatment.

Dr Tremont is truly great! He is Compassionate and cares about his patients. The only bad thing but really bad is that the staff service is poor. You are lucky if the nurse calls you back and the social worker does a horrible job on helping you to get things done.

Dr. Tremont is incredible!! He has the most amazing bedside manner. It is obvious that he truly cares about his patients. He never rushed me and answered all of my questions when I was diagnosed with cancer. He is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met and has a great sense of humor. Methodist and their patients are truly blessed to have him.
