I am writing this to warn other parents about my experience with Jamboree Dentistry located at 4400 North Fwy #500, Houston, TX 77022. My son had a procedure scheduled for 02/19/26 that required sedation. I paid $953.50 for the sedation alone, purchased three separate prescriptions, and took a day off work. Weeks later, during a follow-up with his orthodontist (at a different clinic), I was shocked to learn that the procedure was never actually performed. When I called Jamboree for an explanation, the experience became even more concerning: • Conflicting Stories: The first representative I spoke with verified my son’s name and DOB and told me the notes cited "behavioral issues" as the reason the procedure wasn't finished. • A Second Excuse: When I spoke to the manager, she gave me a completely different story, claiming the dentist "exposed the gum" but couldn't proceed because the teeth were too close together. If this was the case, why was this not identified in the X-rays and 3D dental scans taken/reviewed prior to surgery? • Poor Record Keeping: The manager tried to claim the first rep must have looked at the wrong file, despite that rep specifically confirming my son’s unique name and birthdate. Essentially, Jamboree sedated, cut, and stitched up my son without actually performing the corrective work needed, and they are now refusing to issue a refund. To be charged nearly $1,000 for a failed procedure due to a lack of surgical planning—while being given the runaround by staff—is in my opinion predatory and unprofessional. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want honest care and competent management. I'm currently awaiting for a full copy of the surgical notes I requested.

I just wanted to take time to shout out Jasmine she was so kind, sweet informative. She was with me through every step of the way thank you for your amazing hospitality and your kindness Thank you for an amazing experience. I Highly recommend this place. I also wanna shout out Dr. Tim being so intentional and with me every step of the way as well! Dr . Poindexter was awsome! Bless you guys for what you do. Dr. Spider and his assistant Estephany was very Amazing and patient. He was intentional about every step he took to ensure my baby knew what was about to take place. Most importantly he sing to her to keep her calm! Estephany was brilliant she ensured she was right there to make her comfortable and remind her how strong she was during the process. Mostly importantly she had sonic and it made Kamil feel good about her performance.
